A few comments: - Merit ranking is a function of who scored the points first. If I attack a bot at game reset, I want to be the first one to 300 points. I will finish ranked #8 or so in my alliance because there are other members that get to 500 later, and 500 > 300. - Gathering for AD, the best resource is IRON. For the rankings, the best resource is STONE. Rankings does NOT give more points for IRON, this is raw gathering amount. Have 5 of the same faction in the truck to out-play others in your alliance. - Growth Mission may have a shared event of killing 400 enemy troops. If I do this first, I finish first in the alliance rankings because the PIE is given all to me. If the alliance event is 1200 zombies and I kill 200, I take 1/6th of the pie. [The 3-star was new to me, thank you] Namaste.
yeah the alliance gathering is stone the best, i noticed that when i began hitting them and my spot went straight to top. You can also transition stone into coal into power into zcoins. The best ressource in the entire game. You should be trying to plunder 100% of your iron on iron majority plunder hits whenever possible, because plunder is per unit, so you win big by hauling a iron instead of stone. nice video though i m always looking for new stuff to improve upon 👍

Killing NPC fortresses contributes as well to merit. Also whoever hit 300/500 first will stay at that rank
