Was the only precon I pre ordered. I hope they keep pushing this lvl of quality with decks to come.
it seems they do this like once a year all the other decks ive seen were poop
Roaming throne, Strionic Resonater and Lithoform Engine seem pretty good in this deck to maximize his triggers.
Roaming Throne is going to be a staple in a lot of decks. I'm about to get a copy or two for both this precon and another deck I'm looking to build rn.
I’ve had the most insane run cracking packs recently. I’ve pulled Ojer, roaming throne, three tree city, and two TWO mana crypts.
I have this deck and Ojer and Roaming Throne will be going in asap.
These are great suggestions! Keep up the amazing content!
Edgar becoming a coffin is flavor for the Dracula variant
seems most dont mention strionic engione and lithoform generator which pairs up really well with this commandent.
No mention of Marauding Blight-Priest or Sanguine Bond to pair with the deck's Exquisite Blood? ;)
Better yet, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, who is a vampire and is still good without the exquisite blood.
Clavileno is so damn powerful. Making the deck better basically entails bringing the curve way down and treating it like Edgar Markov- more 1 and 2 drops vamps. That's my advice
you wanna double up on Clavilino ability with lithoform engine, strionic resonator, teysa and drednov, but then yea you def want tons of generators also.
There are a lot of good vampires to include. Gifted Aetherborn, Vampire Nighthawk, throw in Bloodletter of Aclazotz, and let get real dirty with Debtors Knell and some light reanimation, like Rally the Ancestors.
Nazgul battle mace, braids nightmare risen, lilianas contract, liesa forgotten archangel… All solid in this deck!
If you could make a cut list that would be amazing
Would love to see the other two commander's decks to get a budget upgrade
Tarrian's journal
kinda bummed that this just became another Orzhov sac deck. I kept mine vampire tribal
I cannibalized this deck to make a vampires aristocrats deck. It's nuts.
Alhamerets Archive turned out to be powerhouse
Surprise no Liliana Contract as a addon since you probably going to have a lot of demons through him or the other cards in the pre-con alone.
Lots of demons, yes, but you need demons with different names for it to trigger.
@@BuckysKnifeFlip They still become a demon even if they don't get destroyed and create that 4/3 token. The contract would be a great incentive for your creatures to become blocked
Im surprised you didn't mention Liliana's Contract. That card just lets you win when you have 4 or more demons with different names.
but you dont use demons with different names or am i wrong?. when your creater dies it becomes a demon vampire flyer token
@@HighNooT The commander turns creatures into demons in addition to there other types so as long as you have 4 different creatures that attack in the same turn they become 4 different demons as well as there other types.
@@infinitevanguard2464 when a creature dies (thus goes to the graveyard) you create a 4/3 flying demon vampire token
@@HighNooT "Whenever you attack, target attacking Vampire that isn’t a Demon becomes a Demon in addition to its other types."
Then
"It gains “When this creature dies, draw a card and create a tapped 4/3 white and black Vampire Demon creature token with flying.”"
A creature becomes a demon when an attack is declared. If the creature survives the attack it still remains a demon as long as its on the battlefield.
Do Explorers of the deep precon!
Liliana's Contract keeps getting left out of these. Seems like a no brainer to me
@@HighNooTthe commander makes the attacking creature a demon along its other types, which will trigger the effect. The tokens only come in of thr new vampire demon dies.
What did you take out to make these upgrades
Wait, what cards do we remove?
I would take out anything that doesn't resolve around either flooding the board with 1/1 vamps and 4/3 vamp demons or City's Blessing. On top of Clavileño, Twilight Prophet comes in very clutch with the free damage at every upkeep. Creatures like Elenda and Carmen are also great to keep as well. Blood Artist and Cordial Vampire work stupid well off of each other. I'm definitely keeping all of these in.
There's quite a bit of overly specific situational land in there. Windbrisk Heights lets you potentially net a big boy at the cost of one white mana, but you risk placing up to three even more useful cards at the bottom of your deck. Glass Cast Heart, while being able to deal big damage, is very slow to pop off even in token focused decks. Talisman of Hierarchy is just a worse Arcane Signet that damages you. Pact of the Serpent is also only good against other creature token spam decks. Those are just a few that came to mind.
I would be interested in what you cut from the deck to make room for the new cards.
