Have you tried the bataleon boss at all; I currently have a button flight attendant and like to ride all mountain and powder but I want to get into freestyle while still having a semi-aggressive board I can take all mountain. I was thinking the boss because I like the 3bt for powder usage despite the twin shape and because the boss has camber and is a little stiffer for speed and edge hold on more advanced steeps and stuff; all this to say... do you think it’d be worth it to sell my flight attendant and invest in a boss so I can still go all mountain but learn jumps better and start jibbing too?

Hi Da Peligun, Thanks for your enquiry. We haven't tried the Bataleon Boss, However, we think the Boss will be a great option. As you have mentioned, the 3BT tech gives nice float in powder and Sidekick technology should give you plenty of float for an all-mountain board, whilst also having plenty of damping when riding at high speed and through crud/crusty snow. Also, its a light board with a little more camber, which will be good for more aggressive riding and advanced terrain. All in all, we think it would be a great board for what you're looking for. I hope this helps.

I’ve owned one and like it still super flexy for jibs and butters and and hard charge with it if you like I’m 6’ 145lbs riding a 156w with 11.5 boots wish I bumped to 159w but very good park board

Hi Guys ... a piece of advice, I already own a Bataleon The jam 159 with a 29cm boot (world), I know I'm on the edge, but I was fine.I would like to opt for a Bataleon Evil twin, I found a 2021 LTD at a good price , does it change or is it the same as the 2022 and 2023 models ??? I would like to take a 157cm board, is it a gamble or could I go back into it? My goal remains to have a little fun, nothing exaggerated, I'm old now :-) and I started recently.Thank you and congratulations for the videos.

Hi, I would be trying to get a wide board if possible the 157 is a bit narrow through the waist. The board hasn't changed much though

After chatting with the team riders.. Goliath is good for big huge jumps and evil twin is better for small/midsize park and rails.

This would make sense to what i felt, Goliath handled it self well on the mountain also

What about evil twin vs Whatever

Hi Sammie, Thanks for the question.
The Whatever is more geared towards all mountain freestyle than the Evil Twin (ET). This is due to the carbon dowel rods along each edge of the Whatever between the bindings allowing for better edge hold and lateral stability from binding to binding. It also has a carbon strip straight up the centre between the bindings too, which adds to that. Also, the Whatever’s has bi-axial fibreglass all over, allowing for a fair bit of forgiveness in the nose and tail for landings. This makes the Whatever a super versatile board for charging around the mountain with a freestyle influence and hitting the park with a solid platform between your feet.
The ET has tri-axial fibreglass which is stiffer generally across it's entire body but although the Whatever is called a 4 flex and ET 5 I'd say the Whatever is more stable through the feet and less buck from bumps. The ET has carbon X strips under the bindings which gives good power from the bindings into the edge and also a carbon dowel rod up the centre from binding to binding. But the big difference is it's torsional forgiveness compared to the Whatever. You can torsionally manipulate the ET way around that centre carbon rod and through the carbon x strips under the feet which makes it more forgiving in park freestyle situations through subtle foot movements and why the Whatever is better versed around the mountain.
      Hope this helps.
