🤍 Why am I whispering? What is ASMR? 🤍
Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) is a tingling sensation that usually begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson. ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin." It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli. A genre of videos intended to induce ASMR has emerged, over 25 million of which had been published on TH-cam by 2022. The effect reportedly can be triggered by whispering. Many of those who experience ASMR report that non-vocal ambient noises performed through human activities are also effective triggers of ASMR. Examples of such noises include fingers scratching or tapping a surface, brushing hair, hands rubbing together or manipulating fabric, the crushing of eggshells, the crinkling and crumpling of a flexible material such as paper, or writing. You're the only person so far who I've found who does slow and relaxed movements/asmr/triggers in a car. All others are fast/aggressive. As a car and slow asmr lover, this was pure gold for me. I subscribed to your channel, thank you for this video!

It’s the round shape and the way the edges curve and the way the center caves making it appear as a donut shape, with that in concoction with the way the material looks it makes you want to interact with it
I've listened to a lot of ASMR videos over the years and something about 9:30 and until the end of the video has triggered my ASMR more than any other videos I've ever come across. ASMR is so weird but when your brain melts to pure relaxation, you can't really complain about it. The way the sound comes across from your recording device, to the perfectly timed and pace of your taps and scratches... and those scratches of your phone up close, my goodness. Thanks for the ASMR tingles!
