I am a Virgo and if I didn't know any better, I would think that is ME sitting in that chair. Every Virgo I have EVER met is like that. The only thing she said that is not true is about spontaneity. I am EXTREMELY spontaneous. Every single thing else she said is me 100%. :-/
If you're a Virgo and you don't feel you're like this, you must be an August Virgo or on the cusp of being a Libra. She described a "true" Virgo.

I'm a virgo but I'm not even the slightest that way. I'm chatty, disorganized and I'm artistic. I'm not a workaholic either. Interesting though. I do pay attention to detail and a perfectionist though.
This is soooo me! I'm not as OCD. Everything has it's place. I'm very organized. When she mentioned the gardening, I almost died! I am spontaneous at times. I'm super observant. This made me really laugh at myself.
I'd say it is definitely exaggerated, but as a Virgo, there is definitely a lot of similarities. Of course, the rest of your signs (moon sign, ect) has a lot of impact on your personality as well.
For me, Virgo are very frank and honest. They're are realistic and like to observe and analyze things. But they're really great partners.

My mother completely! I'm a pisces and she's a Virgo. Yes, she loves cleaning,cleaning,cleaning.
From my experience. Cancers have the power to withhold and absorb everything that Virgo is capable of throwing at them. The self-confidence (from the exterior perspective), calmness yet cold-blooded response against Virgo ultra-critical behavior can drive them crazy. From my experience, they can actually be very violent, when they find that you will withhold everything they can get physical. My sister is a Virgo, two of my girlfriends were Virgo and a former friend was Virgo as well. Best attitude is when they make a big deal about a mistake you made you simply answer them like this (with a smile): This is insignificant to me, this is nothing, I will never ever assimilate things like you because I don't want to be miserable, so please stop wasting your time. But once again your warmed, you be surprised how violent a Virgo can be, watch up because they grab anything and throw it at you.

Some astrologers say that we are our sun sings to ourselves and what we show to others is our ascendant. For ex. I am a Virgo with my things, I like organization, I am a "professional helper" LOL, but to people I am mostly a Gemini that is my ascendant, so most people would not even think that my birth sign is Virgo. I'm a Virgo and some of this is very much me. I remember when I turned 21 I asked my mom for a black file cabinet for my bday and I was really excited to have it lol. I get accused of being a perfectionist and one thing that shocks people is how sexual I can be because my outward personality makes people think I'm a nun....until they get in the bed lol. Or at least that's what my hubby told me haha. My rising sign is a Scorpio. I also get accused of seeming very unemotional and detached, but I cry about things...just not easily, often, or in front of anyone lol. I'm not this anal though.

This is hilarious! Though I'm not the obsessively clean virgo, I do looooove order. My best friend watched with me and died laughing at the "constructive criticism" urges. So much of myself in this. Bless my friends who endure my "helpfulness", though I try to save it for my students. At least they are paying for it. ;-)

AND, she's right.
I know several Virgos, including my husband, and each of them embodies several of these qualities, though not all. The one thing they all have in common is that they are all boring! The lack of spontaneity is something they all have in common, and for a fire sign like me, that can be quite challenging (and not in a good way!).

Im virgo and I relate to most about organising etc but I hate cleaning all the time, I like to clean keep clean so I don’t have to do all the time, I’m not super organised like OCD, mine moon ascended libra must balance the extremes of it. I’m definitely into my health and help people to become healthier that’s my job. And yes I need to not forget me over trying to help others

this is why I always thought astrology was rubbish... I'm a Virgo and I'm nothing like this at all! I'm very messy and disorganised, I do like to have a plan but I like it to be flexible and leave space for spontaneity. I am quite critical though (I'm am artist and friends of mine who are artists too often come to me if there's something that's not quite working for them in a piece, often I can spot quite quickly what needs to change).
though the rest of my chart does make more sense to me - I'm Gemini rising and I do relate to that (except I'm often quite antisocial)

I've watched a couple of these videos now and it really illustrates how astrology works (or rather, doesn't work): there are things in each of these portraits that I can find in myself as a character trait and I could easily say: "Oh God, that's so TOTALLY me!" I LOVE to clean underneath furniture and help people! God, isn't that just so Virgo!" Or:"Oh my God, I totally daydream all day, how very Pisces of me!" Or: "Oh my gawd, I am such a passionate person, how very scorpio of me!" It's bull.

Some of these are right, particularly the pursuit of excellence, but she clumps Virgo into one big box. Virgo doesn't clump and rarely speak without thinking about exactly what they mean and why they would say something about to be said.

Man, I'm Virgo and all, but the majority of this is a textbook definition, haha. However, that part about other people receiving criticism the wrong way is truth to the max.
I do love to clean and do laundry LOL, I have a Aries as my BFF and we do everything together but we do fight and then we go shopping and its over LOL. I am very friendly but sometimes this is a down fall people can take advantage of my good nature. Oh yes we love health, and good food and love to cook and I love my yoga and my spa treatments its how I look 10 years younger LOL.

virgo is the most difficult sign to understand in some astrology books virgo doesn't have a ruling planet and it's opposite of Pisces which is the age we are currently in.
