Looks good, interesting though everyone buying land in sanyang not knowing whats coming there, Banjul the one. It be amazing in you get the cruises coming to Gambia. I'm glad I'm here to watch the development of The Gambia 🇬🇲 I just pray it supports the citizens of Gambia 🇬🇲 it's much needed better water and electric supply should be very high on the list in this planning and better wages and job business opportunity for Gambians.

Yeah, exactly. It’s so cool to see the area being uplifted that I hope the local community doesn’t drop off too. Gentrification happens all the time in American neighborhoods that price out the natural population. Man, outside of the foreign illegal overfishing from Europe and “Granbia” agendas, I would love to see a win for this jewel of a country

Yes that’s one thing that I thought as well having a deep sea port means that also that Gambia will most likely have their first cruise coming to their country ,this can unlock a lot of jobs and opportunities in the country for sure

heya! could you expand on what you mean, I have brought land very very close to this development, I can see where am clearly on map! is this bad now. I thought nice beach front, build apartments, now I am very scared. then I hear possible further expansion. please share your thoughts.

@@dlondonx3018 it is a good thing because the value of land will increase and a lot of development will happen ,sanyiang will receive a lot of development because of this new port , a lot of new roads will be build ,that’s what he was trying to say .

@omzy8700 I think he is saying Banjul is the place to.invest. if they expand that's my plots gone, port is RIGHT next to my plot..cruise ships will dock in Banjul... they are looking to make Banjul a hot spot. I was gonna buy more land in sanyamg... not to sure now..... who.wants a shipping Dock as a view... and all that noise wow!!! I've been Banjul many many times it's awful....

Africa is one for all black people. Mali should have full access. Oppressors caused these problems

Explain to me who the oppressors were that caused the lack of space at the port problem exactly?

I wonder whether the traditional fishermen in The Gambia benefit from these projects. The coast of West Africa is being fished dry by foreign companies. The fishermen only find cheap jobs or get less money for their catch, while they have to watch their livelihoods being destroyed by the profit interests of large companies. No consideration is given to the environment, nature and the beauty of the Sanyang coast will be destroyed. It stinks of fishmeal factories and it also stinks of wealth for the few. The people with the yachts get Banjul as a luxury port, the people in Sanyang perhaps poorly paid work in the new deep-sea port.

Funny because they just recently started working on this project now so they are clearly doing something right attracting investors in the country

Haha, this government doesn't have the planning skills, foresight, or management capacity for any of this. I'll look up that holding company to see who has planned the future of The Gambia for us. SMH.

Yh that’s what investors do ,invest , it is a good thing when your country is able to bring investors to invest , this project a billion dollar project ,is an expensive project which will transform Gambia as a whole but especially the city were this port will be built will change a lot for the better
