How is possible that one of the most attractive bmx sport from past is not that popular nowadays? In despite of fact that it's olympic sport already. What a pity.

Tomáš Haluza because of people responsible for organisation. They are refusing to make BMX as grownup sport, but WorldCup always organized in middle level without much PR and enthusiasm with wrong understanding of spectacularity. USA sould long ago organize PROS only league in arenas, by inviting people to watch real thing...with great trophies, pr and sponsors. Nothing of that happening.

They need to improve the product.
      · Racetracks should gain some elevation. For example, start could be at like 15m above ground, then 2nd straight at 12m, 3rd straight at 9m, 4th straight at 6m and so on. This would allow riders to generate a lot more momentum.
      · Racetracks should have "slowdown jumps" (walls, hips, easy double before a corner, etc) to reduce how important keeping momentum is.
Right now, BMX supercross is quite cool to look at... until you discover overtaking doesn't happen much if at all. Racing needs overtakes!

@@DiegoRuiz1991 Yes, this is my main thing, why don't the people who organize BMX realize that to grow the sport you need passing, for passing, you need the tracks to generate more speeds and take longer than 40 seconds. Right now, first man out of the gate wins 80-90% of the time, and as a spectator sport that is lame. the race is over in the first turn. It would be like watching a soccer match where first goal wins.

@@SereneBobcat - Yep, without things like speed-check jumps followed by places to regain momentum, 1st guy always has a tremendous chance to win
