Aoa, I wanted to know about few things as you mentioned about 2nd, 3rd shadi. 1- in Quraan Allah says"If you fear you might fail to give orphan women their ˹due˺ rights ˹if you were to marry them˺, then marry other women of your choice-two, three, or four. But if you are afraid you will fail to maintain justice, then ˹content yourselves with˺ one1 or those ˹bondwomen˺ in your possession. This way you are less likely to commit injustice. 2- When Nabi pak.saw did encourage for 2,3 marriages?. During Hazrat khadija RA' life he didn't get marry with another women this marriage lasted 25 years. After her RA's death He (Saw) married, with the will of Allah. 3- During Hazrat Fatima RA's life, Muhammad (saw) asked not to get a second marriage to Hazrat Ali RA. As you mentioned in your podcast " women doesn't mind in Arabs as it's very common there. But wasn't it the part of their norms even before islam? That's why it was very common, having 2,3 wives. I'm not disagree with What Allah has commands us, but the way you said it was something like ordering by Allah or favourable. Please do explain. Jazk

Aoa, I wanted to know about few things as you mentioned about 2nd, 3rd shadi.
1- in Quraan Allah says"If you fear you might fail to give orphan women their ˹due˺ rights ˹if you were to marry them˺, then marry other women of your choice-two, three, or four. But if you are afraid you will fail to maintain justice, then ˹content yourselves with˺ one1 or those ˹bondwomen˺ in your possession. This way you are less likely to commit injustice.
2- When Nabi pak.saw did encourage for 2,3 marriages?.
During Hazrat khadija RA' life he didn't get marry with another women this marriage lasted 25 years. After her RA's death He (Saw) married, with the will of Allah.
3- During Hazrat Fatima RA's life, Muhammad (saw) asked not to get a second marriage to Hazrat Ali RA.
As you mentioned in your podcast " women doesn't mind in Arabs as it's very common there. But wasn't it the part of their norms even before islam? That's why it was very common, having 2,3 wives.
I'm not disagree with What Allah has commands us, but the way you said it was something like ordering by Allah or favourable.
Please do explain.
