@@JB-mo8rs Ah, that's disappointing, wish it had doors front and back. I'm familiar with the Kodiak 2 person tent too and I actually like it better because of the multiple cross ventilation, doors front and back plus side windows. However, the Springbar caught my eye because it's taller, kind of halfway between a full size tent and the shorter Kodiak. I want to use a cot inside and still feel like I have headspace. Guess I might wind up with the Kodiak 9'x8' Deluxe. Anyway, thanks for your reply.
@@rkatrails Well, I made a mistake. I checked the Springbar website and read the Compact model does in fact have two doors on each side. All this time looking at the tent I thought it had one door. The Kodiak, however has two doors and an additional two windows. More options and a little bit cheaper
@@JB-mo8rs I think I'll give Springbar a call on Monday just to make sure one way or the other. I really do like the Kodiak, but for car camping I want a taller tent that's different than my Big Agnes Copper Spur UL2 that I use for backpacking and I have to crawl in and out. But I don't want an overly big tent either because it's too bulky for storage and too heavy for hauling in and out of the trunk of my car. The Springbar appears to be the happy medium. Thanks for your input.
@@rkatrails I have the Springbar 10’x10’ Highline 6. Perfect size and height for four people with bags. If it’s just two people and you want to stand up, then the Outfitter is the one to get.
Can anyone tell me if this tent has a door or window on the backside of the tent, or only the front side?
Only a front door. If you want two doors and more windows, there’s a similar cavas tent design made by Kodiak Canvas. Check out the model 6086
