I understand why Anupama daughter is like this because Anupama as well always demeaned n insulted her mom because of this old couple despite they only used her n humiliated and insulted her... She is getting what she did

I think Anupama thought she would never be happy again so she resigned herself to stay. She also didn’t want to be a burden on her brother and mother. For her it was just easier to stay with her kids and so called parents. During this part of the serial, Anupma was broken and this belief of hers made it easier for her to cope. There did come a time where I think she should have left. I would have left as soon as I found out my husband had an affair but I’m educated and have the means. Anupama does not and she was still recovering from the hurt. She never knew that she was going to divorce Vanraj at this point and meet Anuj. Life is unpredictable! Anupama had to chancge and her such believes did as well.
