I feel so too. It just looks boxy and too much curtains probably because its closed. That narrow alley towards the bedroom and toilet😵💫 all in all, still feels claustrophobic

Er..blocking the whole window is actually illegal.. it prevents fire fighters access into the unit in case of a fire...the ID who did this didn't advise you guys properly.
i like the home tour video featuring about the kitchen . My mum want to renovate the kitchen cause she old want to put those sauces and other thing so that easy for her to get what wants from the kitchen. Nice video hope got more kitchen lobang

Windows are covered by carpentry in the room? It would be an issue when leaking issue happens and mold grow behind the carpentry
I think it will be challenging to clean the storage doors above the stove, especially if they do alot of cooking.

It can claustrophobic for some people. For the same amount of money, is it possible to get some place that is larger and brighter? Of course, one can put a positive spin to it and say it is warm and cozy.

Stove should use induction type instead of gas….induction look 😎
emm but but… some food is harder to cook with induction type 😵💫
Families who usually cook use gas stoves because of the fire as it's more practical for cooking; esp chinese dishes. Whereas ppl who seldom cook or don't cook will opt for an induction stove.

Nice reno but can Hayley sleep well with so many reflections in the room? The subconscious will be there and busy.... ? It will be better if the computer and living room is a solid wall instead of clear glass and a curtain... i like the led lights
dbss and hdb not much different, under hdb rules but dbss will have extra gates/pass entry etc and command higher prices than hdb. some dbss have bigger balcony than hdb.

I don’t know much about twins because I just stick my head in the sand about life and have no shame in showing how ignorant I am.
I have no idea who are these twins. Obviously she doesn’t know the importance of ventilation and natural light for a home. A home without proper ventilation is bad for health as not only will bacteria and stale air accumulate, dampness will cause mould and mildew. It will smell bad. 😂. Looking at how the home was designed, it is either the ID is not doing a good job or the ID just gave in to client’s insistence. It is definitely not a well designed home.

There's something on the market that can solve the issues that you've mentioned and it's called an air purifer / dehumidifier 🤭

l believe a room with no window will have an aircon in order to be liveable. However, even with air conditioning, fresh air is still required to maintain the correct oxygen level. Leaving the door opened is not enough to remove stale air from a windowless room and get fresh air inside. Air needs inlet and outlet to flow efficiently. Beside aircon, mechanical ventilation is required, not dehumidifier or air purifier. A room without window, no ventilation, no sunlight, with tons of stuff sound more like a storeroom. Space, light and ventilation are what made a room look good.
There's door... and you can just open your door and not close it.
she gonna regret the vinyl floor in the MBR toilet. it will pop up just after a few years. i also did that.. within a span of 4 years, i have the vinyl company come and keep replacing.... its never ending. Toilet with floor spc or vinyl is a no no. Because of the wet and humidity.. for toilet wall with vinyl is okay because they use maxbond. but floor with vinyl is just clicked on. sure pop up with moisture.

Honestly, this house is not well designed. Fluted for kitchen? Every room is so small. No breathing space. Owners should have better taste. Anyway, just my opinion. Seems like no rojak. 🫢Cheers .
