It's not the motor that sounds bad, it's the downpipes being unequal lengths that causes clashing sound waves! (like pressing two keys right next to each other on a piano). Look up "equalized exhaust BMW M4," you can actually completely fix the sound by adding length to one side of exhaust.
@@TheDailyDriven Mine is paired with the stock non-comp muffler and stock downpipes so pretty simple setup! Here's the video I took: th-cam.com/video/b1kRNrfHEvY/w-d-xo.html I used to have the AWE track edition. I'm gonna check out your video now, I'm curious to see how you fabricated it since the muffler section wasn't designed for other midpipes!
Currently running stock down pipes. Looked into a aftermarket downpipe but contemplating about the chance of voiding the warranty, since it would need to be tuned after. Stock downpipe and the Switchpath sounds really good. The video doesn't do justice on how good it sounds in person.
Good question. In theory, the dealer or BMW has to prove that the exhaust modification caused an issue. 99% of the time, it should not. If you are really worried, then maybe look into getting the M-performance exhaust. Its a BMW performance exhaust.
The Daily Driven I had M performance exhaust and I just sold it couple month ago because the rattle issues and crack. I saw on bmw forum and I surprised when a lot people have the same issues with me. That right I want looking some aftermarket exhaust.
The majority of specialized or performance/tuning shops charge higher than usual hourly rate....I don’t really see the value in buying treats for them. I mean it’s not like every tech is working on starving wage. I can understand if the techs are working at the minimum wage level...then I see the value of bring pastries/coffees/teas.
Yes specialized or performance shops pay their employees a higher rate and earn a honest living. Buying them coffee and donuts is an act of kindness. I don't need to see the value on being kind to people. Thanks for checking out the video. Stay well
I had the AWE on my F30. The fitment was in point and even better it sounded awesome !
yes it was. Glad it worked out.
That cold start is LOUD! Sounds good man !
Yeah it should so good
The car sounds amazing! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you it definitely completes the car 🙌
sounds amazing wish it sounded like that from factory
Absolutely, the stock exhaust is underwhelming. My fiance said the stock exhaust reminded her of a lawn mower lol
@@TheDailyDriven yup heard the same thing lol

Good thing Active Autowerke created their equal length midpipe. But you explained it correctly Appreciate you checking out the video.
@@TheDailyDriven No problem. I actually just installed the AA equal length midpipe this week. Makes it sound like a completely different car.
Awesome whats it paired up with. I just uploaded a video with it being paired up with the AWE SWITCHPATH and it sounds amazing

Looks 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Totally agree 🤙
How do you open and close the valves?
The valves open with the different modes on the vehicle. Efficient, Sport & Sport +.
that's crazy!
Yupppp
Titanium?
No actually
Is there any drone ?
Absolutely no drone. The exhaust is tamed when you need it and aggressive when you want it.
Is this stock down pipes or aftermarket?

Yeah I heard of that issue with the Mperformance exhaust. The AWE has been great and I've heard nothing but solid things about it.
