It's scary how good ChatGPT is. Not only did it emphasise the need to adept, but it also purposely made a build order where it is necessary to adept. Focusing on making people better players by pushing them to think for themself is a very human way of thinking.

Still not usable though. ChatGPT can't learn about the topics it reads, it is only programmed to mimic human speech. It understands language structure and relation to topics, but it doesn't know what it's writing. It knows what terms are related to each other, it knows in what order they typically appear in text. But it doesn't understand why. It doesn't understand that buildings, heroes, tech, units, etc... have requirements. So, in essence, GhatGPT is an advanced version of saying whatever sounds good.
I wonder how viable a strategy ChatGPT would make if you followed *the spirit* of its build order, not the letter. Based on this you make an ancient of war and three huntresses (they're almost melee, right?) then you tech up, then an ancient of lore maybe and fight from there using a mix of T1 and T2? Are archers viable mid-late game without bears to tank for them? Archer/dryad kiting?
It doesn't know anything. You have to think more of it as looking through all its' training data for anything that has to do with Warcraft 3 built order. Then taking all those things, and mashing them together into one response, that is why you get things like like night elf and human buildings mixed together. That is why you are told to train until you have 10, when you would already have 12 workers etc. Probably because (almost) all the built orders it found in training data include building workers, how many to send to lumber, how many to send to gold, and to construct an alter and a hero, it got all those thing in there, but not in an order that makes sense or in the correct amounts. Because chatGPT really has no understanding of the game itself, it just mashes together what humans have written about the game. With ChatGPT you want to be as precise and accurate on your question and input data; often 1st response of ChatGPT is quite general and not accurate. For example, ChatGPT doesn't seem to be aware of your starting race/number of worker and responded incorrectly on food constraint. You can ask it to refine the build order and also make it map/race specific etc. Also you can also bias certain type of strategy and your play style etc.
I got into an argument with ChatGPT about why coffee is bean soup. It was hilarious. Have fun with it sometime! You can loop it around into some logic where it does have to agree but you gotta work it a bit. Lol

Sort of related to this, I thought what about if in WarCraft IV, instead of having separate heroes, you can upgrade almost any unit (including a Merc) to a hero (still 1 per tech tier)? That way you get more possibilities for heroes, but it's not as hard to balance as you would think, because you can only get them once you can get the corresponding regular unit (including the availability wait for most Merc units).
The first 10 minutes were really good utilizing common sense and creativity out of this strategy. Sadly at battle in his base at around 17 minutes in, paying attention to chatgpt instead of micro came out very unfortunetly, also that the expand wasn't handled early did put him at an increasing advantage. Given grubby's massive experiance I can't see why he wouldn't do something like this on purpose. So a fun troll that was, would have been really strong to recover from that and win anyways, but putting himself at too many disadvantages took its toll in the end. Crazy game considering basically won with troll army but pulled back to complete the mission. Not sure DH was correct move if he went breakers to steal the Skelly's. Alchemist may have been better to get transmute to steal units. Also charming the breakers, you could have stole the water ele or Skelly's back with the control summon. Or maybe KotG w/new thorns? Or pally for healing but that req tech so maybe with all those items doomlord Cleve.
Clearly it just messes with words. If you start with 5 workers and send one to build an altar and one to wood and then wants 2 more for gold it means the 3 are already mining the gold and it is talking about the starting 5 not training 5 :) it makes sense then.

With ChatGPT you want to be as precise and accurate on your question and input data; often 1st response of ChatGPT is quite general and not accurate. For example, ChatGPT doesn't seem to be aware of your starting race/number of worker and responded incorrectly on food constraint. You can ask it to refine the build order and also make it map/race specific etc. Also you can also bias certain type of strategy and your play style etc.

Sort of related to this, I thought what about if in WarCraft IV, instead of having separate heroes, you can upgrade almost any unit (including a Merc) to a hero (still 1 per tech tier)? That way you get more possibilities for heroes, but it's not as hard to balance as you would think, because you can only get them once you can get the corresponding regular unit (including the availability wait for most Merc units).
I feel like chatGPT strategy was solid, grubby just executed poorly.
The first 10 minutes were really good utilizing common sense and creativity out of this strategy. Sadly at battle in his base at around 17 minutes in, paying attention to chatgpt instead of micro came out very unfortunetly, also that the expand wasn't handled early did put him at an increasing advantage. Given grubby's massive experiance I can't see why he wouldn't do something like this on purpose. So a fun troll that was, would have been really strong to recover from that and win anyways, but putting himself at too many disadvantages took its toll in the end. Very interesting and fun to watch though
Crazy game considering basically won with troll army but pulled back to complete the mission. Not sure DH was correct move if he went breakers to steal the Skelly's. Alchemist may have been better to get transmute to steal units. Also charming the breakers, you could have stole the water ele or Skelly's back with the control summon. Or maybe KotG w/new thorns? Or pally for healing but that req tech so maybe with all those items doomlord Cleve.
This is very funny, but it seems obvious that step 1 just meant to use the 5 workers you spawn with at game start

Clearly it just messes with words. If you start with 5 workers and send one to build an altar and one to wood and then wants 2 more for gold it means the 3 are already mining the gold and it is talking about the starting 5 not training 5 :) it makes sense then.

Apparently ChatGPT isn't so much an AI, but just evaluates the probability of certain words to be used in connection to each other in the context of the question. This is why it might produce strange/wrong answers if the question was complex. Those wrong informations put out by ChatGPT are fittingly called 'hallucinations' and ChatGPT presents them as if they were valid, rather than admitting that it isn't sure (because it isn't able to logically evaluate them). You can correct ChatGPT, however I am not sure if this will lead to a long term training result.
