why 99% of booktubers do not love alec? alec is the one of the wisest character in tsc. i loved thim from the first book. my faverite character is alec.i alse can't understand people that think just alec was at fault for malec breakup and hate him for that(i think magnus was more at fault than alec)🙈.but i realy enjoy this video.thank a lot😍😍😍

Omg I totally agree! I love Alec with my hole heart and he's my all time favourite character! Malec is my favourite ship of all time and although I know they both made some mistakes, what truly matters is how much they love each other and how they fight for one another every single time. TSC is amazing and "My Alec" deserves the whole world in my opinion!

I fell like Alec was more at fault. He was basically picking fights with Magnus over truly dumbest things and was acting frankly jealous and stupid. Like did he seriously think that Magnus hasn’t been with others before him? He also tried to find a way to take away Magnus’s immortality for his own selfish desires. And he pretty much acts all stand-offish and rude. He’s also kind of a hypocrite. Like at first he was being so mean to Simon just because he was a vampire and just because he was different when he’s a GAY MAN! Like he wants people to accept him for he is but won’t accept Simon? That just immediately make me not really care about him.
Alec was annoying in the first trilogy but literally everybody was annoying in the first trilogy. His character development is really good
I hated Alec at first cuz he was snobby to clary and rlly rude but he’s one of my fav characters now cuz I understand y he acted like that and he’s changed so much

Well, it would make no sense for her to use the show or movie versions. They didn’t have most of the characters she’s ranking here and also, are adaptations, not a direct translations from the books. Of course she’s using Cassandra Jean’s work. It’s directly tied to all the books.

Clary isn’t weak, the was thrown into a tough situation with people she never knew she had to trust with not just her life but also her mothers, and she went from there and made friends and family
Plus she was 16 and had no memories pertaining to the Shadow World. It's pretty understandable

the reason I absolutely hated clary because she did not have a life beyond jace and she continuously used the only guy (simon) who cared about her for jace.

i feel like thomas has a lot of potential especially with alastair. for some reason i really like alastair, the troubled bully is always an interesting character to me so they wouldve been higher in my list and kit is in elite tier for me and jem is absolute raziel tier to me

My favourite character from the entire Shadowhunters series is an underrated one, Matthew Fairchild. He’s literally amazing in every way to me at least
It was so funny for me, because Magnus, Alec & Jem my favorite characters and I literally adore them with all my heart
At the same time, I have a very difficult relationship with Jace and Will😂
