ในยุคสมัยสามสิบปีก่อนที่อาจจะดูไม่นานนัก กรณ์และอินทัชนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพฯ
ได้พบเจอกัน แรกเริ่มจากความสงสาร ทำให้อินทัชก้าวเข้าไปในชีวิตของกรณ์ผู้ได้ชื่อว่าเป็นลูกชายของผู้มีอิทธิพล แม้จะถูกไล่ แม้จะถูกเมินใส่ สุดท้าย หัวใจก็ยังต้องยอมเปิดให้เด็กหนุ่มที่ร่าเริงดังพระอาทิตย์

I love the way the series handled the topic consent here. They show that consent is important (Dean asking before he kisses him and stopping when Pharm says no) and they also show that a no doesn’t need to „ruin the mood“ - Pharm feeding him is emotional and intimate, even without being sexual. They still express their love for each other without crossing boundaries

He was channeling Korn’s feelings, for Intouch. Remember, In was the one who chased Korn. That’s why they showed that flashback, of Korn Embracing In. That was the moment that Korn realized he fell. So Dean was overwhelmed, from the emotions. And started kissing, and groping him.

I think in this moment Dean is projecting how Korn felt in the flashback, that is also part of why he is so out of it when Pharm stopped him. Maybe Korn and In were more physical by that point or became physical right after. I see Korn's face and it reflects total surrender, he is in love and he is hopeless and he wants every moment he can have with In. We never comment on the moments Dean is over taken by Korn because they are rare, and Dean seems stronger that Pharm when it happens, but I am completely sure that this is one of those moments and it's so sweet because it shows how strongly Korn felt about In.

i really want to commend UWMA for being so progressive to actually incorporate and address CONSENT when they have a chance. it always made me uncomfortable and i just lost all interest when a certain BL completely disregard everything CONSENT stands for. the way some BL series is romanticizing sexual assault instead of actually addressing its issues really makes me sad. we need more shows that portrays healthy relationship instead of settling for a toxic one. Huge respect for UWMA for doing things right and future BL's should take notes!!

TharnType is a little iffy in the beginning I'll agree- although in the novel it's not as bad because you can hear Type's thoughts while it's happening. But the story and chemistry later on is so wonderful that I always find myself forgetting the problematic parts, oops. For me the Kengkla/Techno story in Love by Chance was just too f-ed up though it's a couple I'll never be able to support.

The problem that I have with consent in BL series is that it is never too clear where the rape ends and the consent begins, bc half the bottoms in these shows act like they don't want to do things even when they do. And sure that sounds wrong, but it is a stereotype that women and bottoms should act like they don't want something to make it look more appealing or whatever but tbh that is such bullshit to me, like I wouldn't be like that with my boyfriend. If you want it you better show it bc otherwise when you don't want it you will have to make it extra clear, and that is what upsets me in that scene. We have seen them kiss before, and sure Pharm kissed back for the most part but even then he looked reticent, kinda holding himself back with his arms and with a frown on his face. So when he said Dean's name the first time and he held his shoulder back I honestly wouldn't have known he wanted him to stop if it weren't for the tense music bc he has done that before. And I understand that he would be kinda upset that Dean didn't stop the first time, but I also understand why he wouldn't until he yelled. Idk might be just me

Another reason to love this series. Reemphasizing the meaning of consent. Too often in these shows one person says no and the other keeps going until the first is overwhelmed and gives in. And because we ship the romance and are thirsty we overlook it. But if it happened to us or someone we know we would want that “no” to be respected. I like how they handled the matter, at least so far in this episode.

Omg yes, I noticed that and loved the way they handled it. Pharm understood that this wasn’t really Dean and that Dean wouldn’t do this stuff and even if he did he’d forgive him and tell him not to do it again. BL Series are getting better each year and I love that 🙆♀️
I think in the book Dean was being possessed or controlled by Korn at this part and that's what they were trying to show, but it didn't work out that well. On the bright side we STAN CONSENT AND A STRONG UKE AND A RESPECTFUL SEME
Dean and Pharm's relationship is so understanding they both understand each other so much and they forgive each other this is the main reason it will last forever I mean they will meet again and again in each birth of theirs!

Consent is very important ya'll, when things get too far and your partner doesn't like it, that's where you should stop. No means no, it doesn't matter if you're in a relationship, it's just wrong to do something your partner is not comfortable with, especially touching them when they are not prepared for that stage yet, not a lot of BL series/movies talk or even show a scene like this so i'm glad that UWMA is addressing this issue in a simple way.
and there's the fact that in the novel, it was Dean who stopped himself from making things go too far and was ashamed of his actions, Pharm was shocked when he did it but still told to him it's okay and that he knew he wasn't in his mind when he did that, but also told to him not to do it again, although we know why Dean did that and it's because he doesn't want to confuse Korn who lives inside him with Intouch, he basically wants to remind Korn that Pharm is Pharm and that he belongs to him, not Korn, so he was basically having a slight battle with Korn in himself however, the message is still the same. Consent is a must in a relationship.
