When, in 1971, my parents and I were traveling in the UK, we could not get into York as the Queen was there. It is beautiful, and the shops all look so upmarket. The Cat Shop.....etc. The view up to York Minster.. so sorry we missed seeing it but had to be in Edinburgh within two days. Thanks so much for showing us York...amongst other things!!!

We went to York in May when we were visiting London. We took the train and spent the night. We visited the castle museum, did a little thrifting and walk around and ate in the shambles. We enjoyed our time there.
I believe the glass vessel is a fridgie. It is for food storage in the refrigerator. The large part is the bottom and the flat part is the top. They are great for leftovers. Also, thanks for pronouncing chaise logue correctly. So many don't.
Why are you so dang lucky with your flower pots. Every time I look around the plant pots cost just over half the price if it was new. You find so many stunning items, but I love the plant pots you keep finding. LoL.

I use the butter dish with the bigger section on the bottom and the smaller one as a top. I'm in the US and they have a picture on the small piece that shows up if you use it that way
What a great video! I found myself smiling throughout 😂 I love that big indoor pot - what a deal! I think it would go beautifully in your loft, the colour is perfect. When accenting with a bit of colour for fall or xmas you could bring out that aubergine colour with a throw or cushions.😊

Hi Iwan, I absolutely loved this vlog. The German shop with the cuckoo clocks was just amazing. I have my beautiful cuckoo clock that my grandmother got me in 1979 (11th birthday), it's been on many walls ever since. It still works! I need to visit that shop but it's quite a way from Dorset!
