Agree. Like a can of coca-cola on a hot summer day, always makes you want some more. What's your favourite track tho? Edit: Check out Boo Williams a.k.a. Moon man.
When I watch this, I can't help but imagine that these streets may have been places in Detroit that my parents were familiar with and spent time in as kids and young adults. Yet they had no idea about the city's connection to electronic music at all until I told them. The class and racial divide here is so real. Crossing 8 Mile is like going to a different planet. Long story short, this music touches me and takes me out of that sheltered east side suburbia world I came from. Thanks Omar S.
"Fears that you're never ever gonna return" is the sample...from The Supreme's Come See About Me...heard it in a bar in Greece the other night and thought...hang on, I've heard this somewhere! It's like deja vu when you hear a track that you've heard sampled somewhere
I know It’s probs because I’m stoned but mate I’ve heard so many different things in this sample! “You can never get the time of day” “You put the letter in his hands again” “Fears that you’re never ever gonna return”
I always thought the lyrics said “because you never had a lonely day.” It’s interesting to see what others thought the lyrics were saying - it’s like a painting that means something different to somebody else. Thinking that these were the lyrics I related the song to my own life, that regardless how alone I am - there’s always something there, sometimes friends and family a phone call away, and most of the time, shit like this bumping in my headphones until the late hours of the night. Thank you Omar-S
The use of the sample of Come See About Me is as well crafted as sampling can be. Now I get double goosebumps when I hear Donna singing it. Thanks a lot Omar, you king!
I've seen this guy in the related videos section for ages, thought ya know I'll listen to his music today. Don't know why I hadn't before. What a producer!
LOL I'd love to see some random geezas cutting shapes like this as I'm walking from here to there. Shit happens indoors in Britain, its too fucking cold and everywhere looks depressing.
checkout "all the little hands around" he released this january... I'm a big Omar S fan and that is one incredible track that you'll def like if you like this one... greetz!!
@@arend3669 thanks for this recommendation! i checked it out it slaps. not sure how that one slipped through as im usually on top of omar releases. much love!

The more Omar-s i discover, the more I come to realize that this is exactly the artist I've been looking for all of these years. Crazy talented.
+Viktor It happens to me every time with every different House producers.. to be honest. My fav one is Moomin or C. Rau ..
^ found him through omar s the best and the more i find, the more in awe I am. Similar producers/selectors would be greatly appreciated anyone xx
Right!! Moomin, Christopher Rau, Pal Joey, and Jovonn are some of my favorite house music artist!!
