    You should go into more detail. I enjoy this style of tattooing and I’m excited to try to stipple an entire tattoo. Never thought of it that way.

    Great video man, thanks for the info. Quick question, what type of black are you using? Lining black? Black (grey wash)? Medium grey wash?

    so to shade, you have to set the voltage a bit slower than what you would normally use when doing lines?

    Good info brotha. Do you use gray wash or just build up solid black

      I use wash treating it the same as a normal bng piece

    For your line work, you use the same voltage from the stippling?

    • @ChrisRavage
      @ChrisRavage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, for line work I use a higher voltage.

    Hi. Very cool vidéo.
    I made very solid and constent line with all liner i used. 7rl-18rl bugpin or not. But for some reason, when i use 3rl, my line seems to be very patchy, uncunsistant... not solid. I chage the voltage, my hand speed and the deepness on my needle but that cant fix the problem. Its worst in area like throat, hand, knuckles.
    Do you have an idea why?
    Tanks.

      It could be the bearing in your machine buddy.

    Hey bro your last response was super helpful...I just wondered if you could answer me another question I had...when tattooing a fatty area like the inner thigh/bicep or stomache...I've heard to get the line to go in properly you need to apply the 3 point stretch a lot harder...however...do you also need to adjust the needle depth in which you enter the skin, as the dermis layer on those particular areas differ from let's say a shin for instance...I noticed that some lines fell out in an area like that when healed (on myself of course)...if so, how much deeper do you need to go?
    Thanks again, your channel is awesome.

    • @ChrisRavage
      @ChrisRavage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks man, glad you found it helpful. Yes you can go deeper in some places, but you still have to be weary of blow outs and skin damage..especially on lower liners like 3s and single liners. Any lining will require a good stretch, depending on the skin, more of a stretch will be required, the better the stretch the easier you will find the line goes in generally, but again it all depends on the type of skin, machine and hand speed also play into it, so those may need to be adjusted.

      @ChrisRavage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If a tattoo line falls out, it happens, sometimes it's just the healing. But a better execution of line, stretch, machine and hand speed will go to the line sticking around

    2 or 3 above the kick-in voltage, do you mean 0.2 , 0.3 volts or 2 to 3 volts ? thanks!

    • @ChrisRavage
      @ChrisRavage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sorry I should have specified a little clearer..if your machine kicks in at 3volts I would go to 5 or 6 not 3.1 to 3.3
