It’s crazy how the company did him wrong like that, but he survived. Now I understand why several truck drivers I have spoken told me to stay away from mega carriers and go private companies instead.

Maybe iam wrong guys as I don't live in the U.S. but surly if you sign a contract for 24 calender months, no company after also signing same can turn around and say ohhh we made a mistake it's actually 36 calender months. Once a contract is signed in full its law biding. Total respect for this guy and indeed all truckers for without truckers nothing moves.

I went through C.R. England driving training. I qualified for my license but declined, I couldn't stand the idea of Teaming with another student. I saw some of the driver's they passed.... that was 1997 but companies don't change their ways, that often.

Wow. I went to c.r England . Its was not a good experience from start to finish. The entire experience is a scam. And from the start they tried everything to get me to lease a truck, but there is no way to get out of the lease with them. After 6 months I left. They black balled me for another six months i couldn't get a job anywhere. When i would go to job interviews they would start the hiring process and then call me and say sorry but we can't hire you. But after those 6 months where up i found a great job. Now im a gas hauler. They called me every day trying for like 3 years to pay them 7,000. But i got a representative on the phone with them and they took 1000

I’m calling BS if you have a written contract which both parties signed whether they made a mistake or not they can’t just go and change the terms of the contract. They’d have to rewrite the lease contract and both parties would have to resign for it be legal. Why not sue? Or better yet after seeing how they do business why continue to work for them? You could’ve sued and worked at another company during the process

@@SterlingWheel I'm a company driver with over 10 years experience with them. I left for a few months, got hurt working for JBH, got put in the 24 month lease to own program, then got dismissed and blackballed. Went back to England. Been pretty good until the pandemic. 3 years of day pay with extended hours unpaid. I'm thinking about leasing from them now. There are a few concerns, 1) have they gotten their act together. 2) is there a such thing as retiring from them & what does that look like. 3) who does the money in your maintenance account belong to. Isn't that taken from the truck earnings and belong to the company you set up. 4) how much financial harm came to you and did it stop after the truck was leased again.

Asian you need to do a video on schools vs company training. Curious on your thoughts.
Trucking truth advocates it’s a good deal but I say you’re better off getting state paid sponsored schooling where you come out not owing anything to these companies.
My state paid for my cdl and I could go to any company I wanted to. But from what I’ve seen in your comments drivers have been held at ransom with owing these companies for schooling. Imagine not being able to leave a job you hate because you owe them $4000-7000 dollars yikes!!!
