in Asakusa is SEIYU 西友, it's a best big supermarket in Japan, good services, best price in good quality food. It is I wish SEIYU company would have a shop around Shinokachimachi station area. Shinokachimachi staton area.
Foreigners are not welcomed shopping in Life Tokyo, specially in UENO, SHINOKACHIMACHI shop, some of people comment on board that staffs, specially a miidle age male cashier, very rude to customers, no one would like to treated as a theft when you shop in this shop, but you will have that insulting feeling.

Why do people go to don Quijote to buy stuff? Tax-free is only 8% and you need to reach ¥5000 so I don't really get it.

The amount of plastic
Perfection yes, but all that packaging! Japanese are excessive in their use of plastic. I'd rather see loose vegetables.
