- This is my first time reacting to BTS Cypher 3 in Busan and it was such a great performance.They really know how to feed off one another and their cypher 4 and it was quite the performance! They killed this concert.

This concert was free to promote the city of Busan to host the World Fair in 2030. So there were government officials and dignitaries at the concert. For them to sing this song, “F*ck I don’t care, you can’t control my sh^t…” and couple of days later announce that they will revoke the exemption and Jin will first enter the mandatory enlistment…the boys doing things their own way, as always, is just powerful. I’m so proud of them.

07:32 as far as all bts rappers are unique in their own way, jhope stands out with his agility. Him being a dancer, i think makes him approach rap as dance and it's freaking awesome, he is so melodic with it and flexible
Also Jhope has best adlibs! On bts rapline songs or his solos he just adds flavour.
There is fan favourite song he produced for 2020 BTS album BE called Dis-ease it us such funk song with cool verses and no less amazing vocals and bridges
he did not produce it, hobi composed dis-ease, it is his baby and he was one of the songwriters but brasstracks produced the song
Plus i would say he got the style like in everything he does. Like he can do different kind of music but he always has "his" thing in whatever he is doing. Flow and voice is just so unique. This is some big artist stuff. He knows what he wants. I respect him a lot
hobi is very versatile and there's never been a beat he couldn't ride with EASE, that being said the rapine is superior they all shine in their own way. Awesome reaction
You should definitely check out j-hope's Lollapalooza performance there's a clip that includes "base line", "cypher 1" and "hangsang" this is fire
By the way, they altered the lyrics a bit on this one!! ^^ (not much deviation from the original, but super sick since they tend to do it every concert, the power of someone who knows their lyrics and know their beats -- as opposed to lipsyncers and such people ^^).
Also the "you can't control my shit" is super satisfying knowing all the officials (politicians) that were present in Busan. For years they've tried to use BTS for political and economic purposes, but then denying them of basic coverage in Korean media and "hero" treatment (some other Korean celebrities -artists or sportspeople- having done less, have become celebs of celebs in newspapers and the news). So this concert was on October 15th. A Saturday. Then on Monday 17th they announced they were going to enlist one by one after closing their personal/individual projects. Nobody knew. Only them, probably their families and Coldplay (LOL, for real). The only leverage they had over BTS was gone (extensions to continue performing instead of enlisting at the mandatory deadline). They even said in an interview that the news was a pity because they wanted all 7 to still promote for Busan (World Expo). So "middle finger to all of them" -- you can't control my sh*t!

@The GNGR, I understand what you’re talking about bro ,when it comes to J-Hope of BTS he definitely has a certain cadence and flow that hits every pocket of the beat in the melody of the song ! Just like it with his solo hip hop & pop locking Dancing , Hobi can hit every single beat perfectly it has to do with his dance style and since he had to learn how to rap at the very beginning of his trainee career into BTS he did get a lot of help from RM and Suga's knowledge of their underground hip hop scene which was well developed before they joined BTS ! Hobi never learned how to rap until he got accepted as a BTS Trainee and he developed his own cadence and flow and it just happens to be like the way he dances he hits those pockets in the beat of the music right on time , it just flows so nicely his cadence just comes down like a waterfall! That’s the only way I can describe it so I understand what you’re saying! Lol😂
No disrespect to any of the other members of BTS because equally they’re all talented they all have their own style of vocalization and rapping and I believe that’s why they are such a well package deal when it comes to music they are what you call a “mega septuplet threat!” 😉💜🙏🏼 Nice reaction as always
Our rapline are just 3 damn accomplished rappers whose styles are all different but complement each other. Never get tired of their talent.
After an emotional and gentle song called Butterfly sang by vocal line, Ugh and Cypher 3 was performed by the rap line. They really touched the audience's emotions ... watching all the concert hits differently. Thank you for your reaction!
I absolutely hated rap until I became Army. Now I see it is an art form which BTS do so insanely well. The rap line are just incredible!

Best RAPLINE ever, I can't compare them to each other because each of them are really different, RM 😏 got the commanding voice & play of words, SUGA 😑 got the lyrically blatant and direct of course his swag, while JHOPE 😎 got these flows & cadence, lyrically teasing vibe, unexplainable stage presence that you can't ignore his aura. 🤘🔥
They haven´t sing it in years cause they didn´t feel the need to do it. Singing this at Busan was their statement to government officials that no one is going to control them and this lyrics were a slap to many people who tries to get some benefits from them but also not giving them the credit and status they deserve. Up till this day many South Korean radio, tv and written media doesn´t give them space cause there are many interest from other big k pop companies. They are doing their stuff at their own pace and time. and with their own means. Loved it. The lyrics of this Cypher are fantastic. You have to be a genius to wtite it, hahaha. My almost 3 biases. Love them
See it's so amazing because when Jay first got brought into BTS, all he did was dance, then he developed his rapping skills with the help of Namjoon and Yoongi. He is their rap child.

I haven't been to any of their concert but I still hope I can go to one when they reunite in 2025. Even if it's more likely impossible, I still hope when the day comes that I luckily attend one of their concert, they'll perform the Cyphers. So sad I became an ARMY after the Cypher era. 😭 And RM already said this is the last time they'll perform this song live (only heard it from other ARMYs though)
They delivered with such energy. SUGA is always thought of as sleepy but he bounced most of the way through this amazing performance.

I’ve often wondered how much j-hope’s “different” (as you put it) rap style could be based on him approaching rap from a dance perspective vs starting as a rapper the way Suga and RM did. I never liked or appreciated rap before BTS so I totally don’t know what I’m talking about but if anyone more knowledgeable can weigh in on this I’d love to know. 7:30

I can't wait until you are in the LIVE stadium with them. It's a feeling of a lifetime. I went to see Bad Bunny, Silk Sonic, Harry Styles but NOBODY puts on a show Like BTS. Details BABY! They get how to do Details. Bad Bunny flew through the air like JK did back in 2019 and there were fireworks but nothing like BTS. Idk to me Suga sounded a bit off in this concert, he didn't sound his usual self, was he ok? Anyways I always enjoy rapline songs, there isn't one that isn't fire!

@@nuhkyah23 even if he did maybe think how he had performed only once between this and the june music show performances while during rookie days they probably used to perform weekly or something
UGH! was immediately before this one so he may have been a little out of breath from that. He sounded a tiny bit out of breath at one point during Run BTS, too, but that came right after Mic Drop. The dude raps an average of 8 syllables a second. And dances. That takes some *serious* cardiovascular fitness. After years of performing a gazillion (+/-) times a year and then having that come to a screeching halt, their stamina is bound to be lower now.
