As a child, I read the legend of the Pied Piper and wondered how is it possible that a man can do so much with music. I always wanted to see him. And here I am. I will follow the sound of your flute to the edge of the earth, my brother.
As a complete newcomer to the Tin Whistle starting last week, I found this video just now and I am just blown away at the incredible beauty of your composition and playing. Thank you for your generosity of not only sharing your performance with us, but for gifting us with the sheet music and backing track. Your contribution to the world has made it a far better place. I promise not to play this song of yours in front of family and friends until I can do it the justice it deserves.
One thing music does for you as creator is seting you free. To me music is freedom because music isn't bound by anything. There is no truth or lies in music,no stupid ideals people invented over the centuries and no matter how much you try music will never be trully perfect the way you want it. When it comes to music nothing matters except what you wish to share with people. Music when you create it does what you want it to do tells to people listening only what you wish to tell them through you music without hiding anything. That is music to me. When you make music there is one tool you'd be wise to use and Einstein often mentioned it and it's you imagination. Imagine piece of music in your mind, see what you can do using instruments you have avaliable, don't concern yourself with rules, genre of music and so on, just make music and let your imagination go wild and you'll create pieces of music you never even thought it's possible to make, combine instruments that most believe wouldn't fit together at.The best music will only be created when you have fun making it.
As with any well performed piece on the tin whistle, this was almost painful in its heart touching beauty. Loved every second of it and I thank you so much for the sheet music. Never stop playing. You'd be doing the world a disservice otherwise.
This kind of music just makes me want to cry... its so beautiful and i feel like if you dont like this music something is wrong with you... how can this not make you cry? and great composition my friend. very talented.

EluviumMC X same, bought a tin whistle a while ago and then I came across this video, and I aspire to get to this level someday. Being a bard in a LARP makes me play other instruments than my main, french horn
Thank you very much Ryan for sharing your music with us. Very nice. I agree with you about the Sindt whistle. I have had one on order now since April but will just have to wait for at that time he was already as he told me months behind schedule.

As a child, I read the legend of the Pied Piper and wondered how is it possible that a man can do so much with music. I always wanted to see him. And here I am. I will follow the sound of your flute to the edge of the earth, my brother.
Feels like this could be a perfect movie theme, and a famous one!
Am crying with tears in my eyes
Some celtic music like this was played on the burial of my father in law....
Wonderful. Sitting in my chair with my cat, thinking about friends and family, smiling the whole time...
I envy you....my cat abandons me when there is any evidence of a whistle.....
