Lukanyň hoş habary Isa Mesihiň haça çüýlenmegi we ölümden direlmegi bilen tamamlanýar. Kitap tamamlansa-da, ondaky wakalar tamamlanmaýar. Hudaýyň Isa Mesihi ölümden direldip, Mukaddes Ruhuny ibereninden soň, başga wakalar başlanýar. Hut şu wakalary beýan etmek üçin hem Luka «Resullaryň işleri» atly kitaby ýazýar.
Kitabyň ýazylan döwründe Isanyň şägirtleriniň hemmesi diýen ýaly ýahudylardy.
