This collection is a feat for someone who has recently seperated from their creative partnership. Only time will tell how far he expands outside his comfort zone. As far as viability, surely these looks will be modified for the range of clientele of the house (assuming they don't want to look entirely virginal).

I think this is the first time I want every single outfit in a Valentino show. No, actually, in any show ever. The dresses are amazing, the show is pure beauty.

bring it on I think that actually this Valentino collection is amazing, the simplicity but at the same time pure elegance of those dresses ks very hard to imitate. On the other hand, beleive me that Maria Grazia must be doing sooo much work to be a good director of Dior. The last Couture collection was cute, but I guess she hasnt broke apart for what she has done in valentino, I mean the themes were basically the same. I hope that she can elevate the brand as much as Raf, Galliano and Saint Laurent did at their times

LVMH separated an amazing pair of designers who rejuvenated the Valentino brand and the result are collections that arent as memorable bc they are missing half of the creative spark

At 0:22 we see Alber going to backstage to talk to Pierpaolo if he does not want Maria Grazia back in VALENTINO for him to go to DIOR, just kidding (but I wanted it to be true and she come back). Looking at the creative side now I'm sure that separating the duo was not a good idea, for both DIOR and VALENTINO, this show is beautiful, but the old VALENTINO had more "magic".

I've discovered its a piece by Alexandre Desplat, created specifically for the show. Many of his movie soundtracks are available however, and they're terrific.
