Also: I have tried multiple times to introduce Gotcha to a much larger bathing bowl/tub but it scares him and he wants nothin to do with it lol. So if he wants to take a bath in a bowl that small then he absolutely can! Lol! He can do what he wants 😄💋.

I cannot stress enough how heartbreaking this sad truth is.... Too many people impulse buy parrots because of cute or funny traits they've seen in other birds. No two parrots are alike...
A life stuck in a cage is cruel and so unfair to these magnificent beautiful creatures.
They deserve the absolute best!
So if you are interested in a parrot, adopt one because you have the time and energy and if you want to save them from a life stuck behind bars, not solely because they are cute or funny etc.
parrots are a LIFETIME commitment. They can live up to 80+ years!!
I've given up many many things to give my two parrots the best life they can possibly have! (Night out, gone on weekends, vacation time, a clean quiet house, extra money.. Etc.)
But it's all worth it, my parrots are my family and I love them like my children!
Please DO YOUR RESEARCH before adopting.
After all, we have our friends, our jobs, and our hobbies...
They only have us💗❗️❗️

You are honestly a superhuman. To have a toddler, two other toddler-like birds, dogs, and of course your own ups and downs in life would be too stressful for most. You handle it so well and are so patient, and you always try to give your animals the best life possible even when you are tired or frustrated. I look up to you!

I love Letty's random "Woo!" at 1:24 and the toot at 2:26. She may not like the spotlight as much as Gotcha, but she can still make her presence felt when she wants to! She doesn't even need to be on camera, her off camera noises are hilarious. The toot was made all the more funny because you don't see her!! 😂👍

You might have a bird zoo in the neighbourhood. We have one closeby, and you can go and cuddle parrots whenever it suits you.

Just dont forget to do research pre-getting the pet. Creating a kitty is awesome and easy, but having the bond where the kitty just straight up loves you in their own way is just soooo rewarding

I had a very boring day today (at work!) but I kept hearing Gotcha talking like "It's all insane hunny" and "that's right on my shin" etc. Not easy to explain to my boss why I kept laughing out loud!! Thank you Gotcha for brightening my day whilst also confirming I work with people with no sense of humour! ha, ha :-)

Parrots love to be misted when the vacuum is on! is that her water bowl that she was trying to go in? My U2 stands on top of her cage just waiting to be misted when I vacuum. there is something about the sound that triggers something in parrots about rain...most of them react like Gotcha did...spreading their wings to catch the raindrops!

I've bought all kinds of different misters for them too thinking maybe that would help but They both prefer the soft fall of water in the shower instead. Which is okay! They've got a shower perch set up in there and it keeps things drier downstairs haha
I I believe the sound mimics a heavy tropical rain downpour. So....they spread their wings when they hear the sound...maybe the vibrations are similar also...yes , I know sound is vibrations!

My Schnookie also takes a bath during the time I vacuum. Then she gets mad until I fill her bowl up again with water so that she can keep on bathing! She's just so spoiled! Well, my little girl laid 3 eggs. November 1st thru the 3rd. One for each day. She broke one. She was playing with it. So we had to toss it. But, I keep the other two so that she won't lay anymore eggs for awhile.
