This is SO good. I just had to struggle with 7 calls last week for an event, and now being able to use Zoom directly, it's a real game changer. Thanks! It really helps a lot to have this tools.
Awesome addition to VMix! So lets say I have a meeting with 50 people. From what I'm understanding here, since the raise hand is shown in the input window, for me to be prepared for any one of them to ask a question, I need to have each one as a separate input. So in this example, 50 inputs. This seem like it could get unwieldy for large Zoom meetings. The workflow I'd like to see is. I have 2-3, Zoom Vmix inputs ( Zoom A, Zoom B, Zoom C). Let's say 5 folks raise their hand. I assign person #1 to Zoom A, # 2 to Zoom B, #3 to Zoom C. When it's #1's turn, I take Zoom A to air. When it's #2's turn I take Zoom B. While #2 is on air I assign person #4 to Zoom A. Continue to rotate through as folks raise their hand. Ideally what I like to see is a producer/call screener window. As folks, "caller", raise their hand they are added to a queue list. The "producer/call screener", or maybe automatically, would assign the the "caller" to a Vmix input. When the person finishes question, the next person in the queue would be placed in the next available vmix input. Thanks!
Loving this sooo much! We are looking to create a lot of data integration connected to our participants. Any plans to add Zoom name entered to be an auto load option for titles data source?
Hi and thank you! How do you recommend dealing with a zoom meeting of 50+ people? Can they be auto added in? People coming and going etc? Any recommendations?
This is such a freaking gamechanger. Right now, we're running a top spec Mac Studio to run ZoomISO and pulling 6-12 channels of NDI out of it depending on the show. This could eliminate the need for all of that. Bonkers. Very excited to begin testing - let's hope it works with webinar (we use webinar as the contingency plan should the stream or vmix hardware fail)
MS teams utilizes NDI and can be pulled in natively. This is how we are currently using it but it is limited to 720p by MS so quality is really spotty. Really easy to do though!
Other than opening the zoom meeting separately, making sure all participants audio inputs are isolated, is there anyway to talkback to participants within vmix? I don't see any options to select buses back to the zoom meeting.
Yes, recurring meeting should work. If you have a recurring meeting in your Zoom account, you should see it when you login via vMix from the Meeting drop-down menu.
I have no video feed to the caller and no video from the caller. Audio only from the caller via this zoom input. What’s wrong with my setting? As a side note, I’m not able to record the layovers, like the 1/3 graphic, only the master video and audio. Any smart people there?
Is there a difference between VMix Pro and Max (besides the subscription model)? I'm a VMix Pro user currently. Just curious. Love the new ZOOM feature. Just need to add it to my regular workflow now.
Hi there! Is it possible to change output number for zoom after creating it? I can't find this option. Right now I'm testing and have found this problem
thanks for explaining but I have a doubt: I noticed that to have the zoom inputs, you also need the open zoom conference, with HD quality and also at least 30mps connection so with vmix, you might find the connection reduced. what if I have a 5-10 mps connection and could it cause difficulties in connecting with HD? second question: input animation works when someone speaks, instead I am a deaf person and there will be live events with sign language and only the audio interpreter speaks, how does it work to change every time the person signs the sign language while the interpreter Is he the only person who is always behind? Thank you
You can create an overlay with the input of the person that does sign language and make that like a small picture in picture box on screen at all times
Thank you. The issue I anticipate is that we are limited to only 10 layers, but what happens if we have 16 guests? Also, how would the producer communicate privately with the guests without being overheard during the live?
You can stack layers, so you have an input with 10 layers as a layer on another input that has 10 layers etc. When setting up a Zoom input you can determine what audio is sent to them, if you create a Bus with the producers audio, you could send that to the participant. Here's an example using vMix Call and Buses- th-cam.com/video/DIYPwxi0wO8/w-d-xo.html
When a speaker is sharing is screen is there no way for me to capture that share and add it into my video output without everyone seeing the speakers direct screen share ?
Is there a limit on how many total zoom participants can be added on a vmix Pro account? The vmix website states conflicting info about zoom feature input 1 vs multiple. How many zoom inputs can I have on a vmix 4k license?
Zoom allows 30Mbps worth of calls, so you can have as many that fit under that cap. vMix 4K allows you to have as many Zoom inputs as your Zoom account and vMix computer can handle.
Zoom feature added is good one and really a great job. But once joining meeting without host, every time asking for allow by host for recordings or streaming is not appropriate. It should be join like as a ZOOM meeting . Must be work out for this one otherwise it will not work for simple user to join .
@@vMixhd I get that but as for now the quality does not exceed approx 360p. How can I be sure that it will increase should I purchase the license? I have read some latest comments describing the same issue and vMix does not provide any helpful information stating that it is only Zoom compression issue that it is so low
I love VMix and will be doing a deeper dive with this feature BUT ... none of this seems practical with an large community meeting where any who wants to speak can ... and it is too much setup AFTER the meeting starts.
This update is pointless, you can only join meetings or host meetings which for large corporations doesn't really work, you want to be able to add to webinars and larger setups. Also its very buggy

I want to do the same, did you find a solution?
I think the best you can handle this is to have a co-host with a different laptop whose work is to anwer queries from raised hands..🙋

Thank You from Rich Tamayo at TVP LIVE in Southern California and our over 8.6K members on FaceBook's Live Streaming Producers Forum. 🙂
Hi guys, great tutorial! I´d like to ask if its possible to get the Zoom language interpretation audio channels on vMix
Indeed awesome! And about time I might add. Such a hassle doing it the NDI and alike way. Thank you team vMix for the much needed update!
OnZoomActiveSpeakerSelf still not working as advertised in this video, any chance that you could elaborate how you did this in your video?
very interesting update! do you plan to add similar compatibility also for Microsoft Teams?
MS teams utilizes NDI and can be pulled in natively. This is how we are currently using it but it is limited to 720p by MS so quality is really spotty. Really easy to do though!
On ZOOM, will the same settings work with Webinar Webinar or is it only Meeting Mode?
I need an answer to this question as well, I guess we should go ask on the Vmix Forum ....
Teams with NDI has been doing this for years. Zoom completely missed the huge virtual pandemic window for this
Teams is terrible though
no they dod not, luminal developped this and zoom bought it in the end, it is called zoom iso and worked great during the pandemic

Are we able to use a recurring meeting so we don't have to send a new invite link every time?
Yes, recurring meeting should work. If you have a recurring meeting in your Zoom account, you should see it when you login via vMix from the Meeting drop-down menu.

Awesome! One question: the 360p limit is only for the zoom partecipant acquisition as input ? My vmix output to the zoom meeting is not affected?
Excellent work, guys
Game changer! Thanks guys 🙏

Can we have it edited to 1-2-3-4-5 Participant as the case maybe?

Is there a way to get active speaker view as an input?
Does this work with webinars instead of meetings?
Will it be possible to capture all active meeting participants in one input? Like the view in ZOOM when we switch to "Gallery"?
Hi, does this zoom feature in vmix allow or able to join a breakout room? thanks

sir this work even in vmix Basic HD?
This is going to be VERY handy, thank you!
Asking for a Friend, will you ever make something similar for the IOS Apple Silicon?
I also have the same issue
Very helpful and appreciated!
if we have the old setup to make vmix send audio/video to zoom and using Virtual Cable A and B, so we wont use virtual cable now?
Yes, this new option will manage the audio within vMix without virtual audio cables.

Very good tutorial. Too bad it's not possible to choose different audio source for each participant.
Why don’t you show us and the share screen how it works in mix ??
Vmix zoom audio always giving echo sounds feedback...
