Totally agree with the quality of these LC racing cars being much better quality than the WLtoys models, I got my EMB-1H 14th scale buggy up to 34mph on 2s and 50mph on 3s stock gearing out the box a month ago.
Do it! I have the truggy and I’ve also basically converted my other Wltoys 124019 into an LC Racing model too. The drivetrain, shocks, and the quality of the plastic and metal used in the LC Racing is of a pro level.
I have the emb-t one thing to know about this vehicle is that you can switch to the buggy Wheels and body/shell to make it a buggy also you can switch to the short course wheels and body make it a sct or get the desert truck body and wheels to make it a dt so the vehicle is capable of being more than 1... I'm pretty sure there is a phat bodys shell that works for the lwb version also you can try the LC12b1 body/shell. Hope this helps

comparable to the mini e revo 1/16 would probably go with the traxxas again though the amount of aftermarket support for that thing is insane literally everything you can imagine and replacement parts everywhere

In the 124019 model I have a 2425 5400KV motor with a 2.3mm shaft, holes with a spacing of 14mm, 12.7mm 16mm and I have a 15T rack, I saw that there are also 17T. I want to buy the EMB-TG model, can this engine be matched to the EMB-TG and will it have enough power?
Awesome buggy. Might have overpowered mine a touch, destroyed a 3rd set of tyres today. Everything is out of stock and it's a bugger to get any tyres for it that aren't already glued. I've ordered some 1:10th buggy front wheels and tyres and I'll try taping them. Any other recommendations for a park bashing tyre for it that can handle some decent RPM?
I think I'm going to transform my EMB-1 into an EMB-T with the conversion kit they sell. You're right, way better quality parts than Wltoys, there's no comparison.
I think the stock esc is holding that back Phil, I have the kit version and have a 4400kv with the 19t pinion and a cheap 45a esc. I took it out last weekend for a speed run along with my 144001 brushless truggy and managed a 59.71mph run with the monster truch tyres on 3s. Video on my channel if you're interested. But the lc has more to offer with a better esc on 3s than 54mph. Thanks for posting this video though, glad people are giving the LC the credit it deserves 🙂
These little cars are so cool, always surprises me how well they drive just built up out the box.
I love those little truggies, at some point will get one of those when finances allow, just that bit sturdier for small BMX track type jumps.

I think 1/10 buggy wheels/tyres are the way to go. There are some pretty good ones out there
