Was just at the Honda dealership test driving the sport hatchback manual. They would not go below $31k otd. It wasn't even the premium color I wanted (which if I order at another dealership is under $30k otd). I left pretty satisfied with my non-purchase.
there is a sport mode. if you would have scrolled up on the driving mode menu.
I just picked this up last week. 2023 Sport hatchback 2.0 6 spd manual. This car drives amazing, economical, and easy to maintain. They probably won't make these sort of cars anymore in the next few years so get one while you can. It's got most bells and whistles, not a speed demon but this car will reliably take you anywhere. This is as close to, if not better, An Acura Integra that we all loved in the 90s.
I'm going to have something to say. Can't help myself. I paid $30.260 plus 3k in options for the sport touring in white. Was not necessarily looking for the Civic but it ended up being the best choice for us. I had no idea why that hole was cut into the floor. Now I do. Thank you!!
After practice with the remote start, I have found that you only need to push and hold for 3 seconds. The car will start even though you have released the button.
Hope you have a wonderful New year.
Hi Sam! I am glad that the information about the frame number was helpful. I also appreciate you sharing your experience as well as the information about remote start. I will know for next time. Happy New Year, my friend! BTW Would you send me an email at vehiclevisionaryyt@gmail.com when you get a chance? Thanks!
Thoughts on the car since you've had it?
@@rosshoyt2030 I have a Sport Touring and love it ! Get it if your thinking about it .
@@diaryofshaeI’m thinking about getting one
@@MC-ie8xl I still love my car I would highly recommend 👍🏾
I drove this beauty and fell in love right away. The only thing that bothers me is that I live in a city famous for its winter and the potholes. Not sure if I will have any problems in the future.
I had a 2019 and lived in a similar city with similar winter conditions described and I will tell you that I had a lot of problems with the tires specifically. Im pretty good at dodging things in the road. However you can’t dodge everything. That being said, I constantly had bubbles and TPMS problems. I had to change my tires a total of 9 times. But I recommend getting insurance on your tires so that you don’t spend a shit ton of money replacing them. The car is beautiful but it’s low profile allows for tire issues.
There are so many features. I think it is worth it.
Just got one back in November. Like it very much!! 😃
I like how you can finally get the 5 door with a manual and the NA 2 liter. Too bad car prices are ridiculous now.
Good video the Civic is still the best bang for the buck and excellent Honda reliability.
Reliability yes, but not so much best bang for buck since they are very high priced now.
You cant find a civic hatchback sport in my area under 30k with their ridiculous mark ups. SMH
buy kia 2023 much better 👍
Ain’t no way someone is gonna buy a Kia over Honda lol as much engine as they go through next to Hyundai….
@@J.G.Romo.W. my friends KIA soul has 330.000 miles 2016 mostly 50 percent city and 50 highway. super reliable 👏
@@uniswapbull my friends 2016 elantra too is past 300k miles. Only oil changes.
@@marquisstrongchild7535 WOW!!! I saw a optima with 380k miles same engine and transmission. he was using only mobile one advanced synthetic and amsoil transmission fluid.
For this price there should definitely be a fold down center arm rest with cup holders for the rear.
isn't there? the touring has one why would they take that out and put in a different back seat for this model?
@@raven4k998 there is not on the sport
Just traded my 22 accord sport for my 23 touring hatch 2 days ago. Love it
Good choice!
Did you have to pay anything extra? and what made you do that?
I’m thinking about getting a 23’ Civic sport touring hatch. It’s white with the lighter interior.
I got out pf a lease on a 22 accord sport i do miss the size but ill tell you handling the civic sport hatch is fun!! Its a lil quicker than the accord too the 1.5 turbo sport. Makes no sense.
Glad to see a actual hatchback car instead of another wasteful and boring SUV.
Bought my boost blue sport hatch cvt for $28,500 with no markup and I love it almost a year later
Is that out the door? With taxes and fees?
@@Saul-zp6hh yep
@@Locallybuiltautodamn that’s my goal to get sport hatch under 30k total congrats! Can’t believe that calls for a celebration lol
Just bought mines rn. I’m excited and can’t wait to drive it
I have the same one ! Color and all just got it earlier!!
Why is there no rear led turn signals? Doesn't the sedan have them?
I just picked up my 2023 Civic Sport Hatch w 6 spd manual in Rally Red....love it. I paid $30k
Was that the out the door price or price before taxes?
Sounds like you got ripped off at that price by paying above MSRP.
What are some mods for this model ?
My two complaints, and I only have two - with my 2022 Civic Sport (purchased new, now with 10k miles) is the comfort of the seats and the Goodyear Tires. The seats are horrible for long drives, but an aftermarket back support has helped a lot. And the tires are SO loud, especially on wet roads.
im not sure about the 2023 model but the 2024 model continental tires and people are telling me they are a little quieter but the car overall is sorta noisy because not much noise cancelling stuff
Strange. Almost every review Said Sears are top tier and comfortable.
I know it sounds crazy! In 2014 we bought brand new handa accord for $21,180 ( out of door price). We live in California. Tax is almost 10%. So without tax and fees, the actual price paid is less than $20,000.
Love the styling and honda quality, but not a fan of the high price (even worse when dealers are charging above MRSP). Also, I dont really like how Honda excessively gimps out features on the sport model. I mean seriously leaving out a rear usb port and arm rest in the backseat in a $26,000 car is pretty lame.
does it have ventilated seats and ventilated steering quality
Good overall description
Thanks!
I love the intro.
Im not really ready to upgrade yet i have the 2018 hatchback sport 💙 but when I'm ready to upgrade im going for the 2018 hatchback Type R i like more the aggressive look than the new one 🤘🏽😁
wow. I remember when I bought my 2007 GTI for $23K. I like the NA engine better. This car should be about 23-25K.
It's 25k with the NA 2.0 motor. I just looked at one. Just south of 27k with destination. Of course that's MSRP. Most dealers are hurting lately and will and do negotiate.
Inflation. It's a thing.
I love the car so much. I just buy it and comeback go to your video to watch again!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations on your purchase!
Great car absolutely a nice ride with no turbo just worry free transportation
Plus, 2.0NA is port-injection only, not direct injection, so that's yet another worry-free feature.
Please add commas or periods. This looks like a grade school kid puked up this incohorent sentence structure. Thanks!
This car keeps getting better and better. The 1.5t si worries me because i know that engine is highly strung no matter how you put it. 1.5liters is barely bigger than their motorcycle engines which is a shame
Is it worth the price? Absolutely!!!
No cvt, normally aspirated Engine. Think the car speaks for itself. The Good old days with less shit to break. Congratulations HONDA.
Do a review on Manual civic sport hatchback
Damn my first Honda civic ex I bought was back in 1999 with zero miles. Damn fcker never broke down traded with 170miles original everything.. I would buy again near future.
Those were relatively simple cars, back then. It's a different story, now (including labor costs).
I like this ❤
Love it..! I'm looking to buy 2024 6-speed manual, Lunar Silver..! 👍👍
It is worth it but people like students are looking for a cheaper car and the Civic used to be that car. I don't see a good quality competitor that is closer to $20k other than a used Honda.
Holy road noise. My last test drive of the 2022 Hatch showed so much road noise that it was louder than the radio. The drive was just awful compared to my 2020. The lack of HD radio, no SiriusXM unless you do Touring this price doesn't make sense. You also still cannot control the car with your phone like a Nissan, Hyundai, or VW. It really is a joke that Honda continues to lack and have no functionality and convenience. The Honda Civic lacks at 26k almost 27k. This car continues to climb in price and Honda continues to remove features left and right. Before long Honda will blame the car shortage on a base model Civic costing $32k.
Wow, thanks for that! I was considering one, I'll probably lean towards that Forte GT now. The interior and seats in particular is much sharper!
@@zadokmotorfreight2423 careful with any Kia… I love the styling and features they offer and have actually owed 3 in the last 5 years. The build quality is terrible though. Feels like a plastic when closing the doors. Don’t feel solid. And every one I’ve had has had extreme roof rattling and cracking/popping
@@Darth_Davo thanks for that! I haven't even looked at one in person, just videos so I appreciate your input!
Agree. I have a 21 EX Hatch, leased. The last model year where SiriusXM and Hd Radio was included in lower trims. Cannot understand for the life of me why they took this away. Much more convenient then plugging in a phone every time. Accountants said bottom line has to get better, so there you go. Cut it.
My road noise is pretty typical for a Civic I think. I have had quite a few. Nice to drive.
I don't know if I am ready for another one in a year with these price markups. May be keeping this one.
Or looking at Subaru.
I was also bummed out that you dont get rear USB ports or center arm rest in the backseat on the Sport trim. Im leaning towards the Sentra for some of these reasons. (But Sentras also have loud road noise too).
Does the trunk leak
People in the comments are complaining about the price and I just wish that was the actual price. I can't even get a 22 sport hatch for that price. They're $28k with 15k miles here for a 22'. I'm looking at 2020 hatchbacks that are $24k right now. I want a Civic for the reason they keep their value but that's also the reason I'm not gonna find a deal on one 🤷🏻♂️
Every Honda dealer in Denver has at least 5 civics. All selling at msrp. You may have to travel but many major cities in the us have stock now.
You're better off buying brand new in that case. Lower APR, factory warranty, repairs are farther off, sell it for more when it's time.
Love this car. I have the lunar color.
A great design and buy!
Can you order one without them marking up the car. Perfect car with a cvt and without a turbo. Less crap to go wrong and break. Honda reliability Returns. Haven’t been interested in Honda since they discontinued the Prelude. That was a great car.
What state is that dealership
Wow kavery nice ba nito oi
Anyone knows how to lock the trunk because even I press the lock on the key if I manually open the trunk it will open
It locks with the doors, but if you have the key fob with you, you can open the hatch. If you don't have it close to the car, it won't.
u gotta go get that fixed under warranty
lol 3k over sticker its ok car markets are starting to crash ill wait little bit longer
You are wondering wether is it worth 26k USD? In the Mickey Moyuse country called Ireland it starts at 47k Euro!!!!!!
Maybe if you could buy one at MSRP. Most dealers in my area have a markup over MSRP. No thanks!
MSRP too high 28k is crazy for a civic but than again the new civic is like a new lexus.
@@uniswapbull wtf, its not even close to as luxurious as a Lexus. Did the salesperson pitch that to you last time? 😆
Does anyone know about audio? Is still Bose?
only on touring models, not any lower trims
I have a new black, on black with black wheels 2023 Honda Civic Sport, I like the car, it looks nice and I like inside and out and I enjoy how it feels driving it, what I don't like is that it about it is that it only has 1 USB port in the entire car, even if I connect a dual USB to the 12V port, giving me a total of 3 USB ports is still not enough for what I need.
In The Netherlands this car costs $43.357,-
WORTH
Why doesn’t it have blind spot monitoring
they cheaped out on alot of other features too
I don't know but I like the old hatchback body that it had. This 2023 one looks less sporty in my opinion
Most people don't like a bunch of phony black air vents in the front and rear. Some people, of course, do.
Weird. My 2023 has Sport mode.
As it turns out, this one did too but would not engage sport mode for some reason.
Isnt this just the sport? Not spt touring - thats usu 34000
Yes it is. Being human I make mistakes such as saying sport touring when I should have said sport. 😂
Is it Worth 26k$?
It 41k$ in my country lol.
158 horsepower lmfao this car is worth 15k
Why do you need 400 hp?
no more drunk posting, bruh
You can get a kia forte gt for less with heated vented seats, wireless charging, 6 speed manual, more hp
I’m not driving a Kia over a Honda lmao
Nissan Sentra. I cant buy a Kia or Hyundia where I live because they get stolen or windows smashed and try to steal them even when they have updated the ignition properly.
Kia is like the Walmart brand of cars! 😂
Kia is like the Walmart brand of cars! 😂
Kia is like the Walmart brand of cars! 😂
I wish they'd have a trim with ventilated seats, and a red interior on this would be PERFECT.
The Si trim has some red in its interior. Looks beautiful
Red interior would be great for hookers and goes well with cheetah patterns and those boas scarf accessories.
i dont understand why they keep jamming cvts into these models, they feel so slow and ruin the driving experience
i didnt notice any difference. must be a perceived virtual reality thing I suppose
Im not buying another CVT engine again. Very boring experience and a lot of lag. Fyi i drive a 2015 civic
A CVT is a transmission, not an engine. You can get the same engine with a stick.
@@xp50player transmission**
So my lag was completely eliminated with a tsp tune. I got a sport touring with that tune is just flawless. 0-60 runs at 6.1 but feels 10x faster and improved my gas mileage. Cost $390 to fix that issue.
@@joekang3830get a mazda3 and thank me later 💯
What automatic can u buy without a cvt these days? I haven't bought a car in 10 years and now that I need one everything seems to be cvt. I haven't even driven one yet but everywhere I go people are complaining about them. It really turns me off from buying a new car
Mazda 3 is a much better car than this car much better value only problem with Mazda 3 is less leg room for rear passenger.
Less leg room and a serious case of claustrophobia. The less leg room immediately rules it out for a maturing family of four.
Nissan Sentra
CVT 🤔 I’ll buy the manual instead😊
No
All Honda cars are overpriced now
If people buy all Honda makes at that price, then by definition they are sold at what the market will bear, not overpriced.
Agree bro. 30-32k otd price for a "compact economy" car is bs
The days of buying a mid to fully equipped “econo compact” for under 20k or under been OVER since the 2010s get over it already not to mention those cars didn’t come with android auto Apple CarPlay auto climate or as much HP so it’s all relative you get what you pay for it’s called inflation..look it up😂😂😂
@@mikes6853 technology is typically deflationary. look at cell phones and tvs for example. 20+ years ago a flip phone was 600+ and only made text and calls. tvs for example. and apples first home computer was 5,000 if you account for inflation. besides my $300 pioneer head unit with car play from 5 years ago is light years better than what they're putting in this Honda! at least give us full leather for these high prices. I test drove one of these and the fabric for the seats and arm rest felt super cheap! way cheaper than older Hondas
All cars are "overpriced". Used cars are more expensive, and something like a Corolla is a bit less, but isn't as good. So it's not just Honda
Automatic trans suck
Honda 😴💤
Personal opinion that's probably the ugliest hatchback. looks like a crossover. However the Civic sport sedan is beautiful in that year
I absolutely hate it when people cut me off like that Honda. If you wanna take your time, then wait after I pass. Most of the time there's no one behind just like in your case!
