I started smoking fish when I was 17. Then later making venison jerky. I always liked using chunks like this. It’s a great way to make something useful out of scrap cookies. As Joe at Ohio wood burner says. Value added firewood. Peace
I went to lowes and home depot and looked at their bags of chunks, and it's wild how expensive they are for super tiny bags. I figured 20 bucks a bag is good for me and for consumers. 💪🍻
Buds no excuse. Are you not tied into your hot. water tank. My unit never stops just fired T870 up and put a skid of Ty blocks by boiler. O no I know why just guessing you have everything thing tied in a series. 👎🏻 feed to hot water tank then to furnace and then back to boiler. Correct ✅
Jack now is the time while it’s nice out to check your system for leaks. The chemicals for boiler are high priced. Second. Be careful on pump. My unit didn’t come with a circulating pump. It was my choice. You know why. Because these companies aren’t going to give you a big high priced pump. To push the long distances. If my unit had come with one it would be in garage on shelf collecting dust. Pumps with units are short distances. If I remember I’m 120 feet to block of house not counting inside lines. It’s not hard valve in to hot water tank only and work with it. Real touchy regulating a fire. Water tanks are well insulated and the cycle times need to be adjusted. ((Your correct load demand would be super low)). On chilly nights the convection of heat can be felt with hand next to register. Only trying to help not by know means being my way or no way commenting. I’m just a dumb fat old hillbilly in a skinny man’s world 😂 It’s about helping one another.
@@LogCabinFirewood I’ve been selling chunks for a few years, although I don’t have the axis. That machine would definitely make it a lot easier! I sell them by the lb but a full bag is 20 dollars/20lbs. The demand comes in waves, some weeks I won’t sell a single chunk other weeks I sell 300lbs to one guy!
Awesome added value bags! I’ve been giving my brothers my chunks for free so they don’t take my bundle wood. Guess I need to start charging them more… So do you have a SplitFire 1165V coming? Still loving mine. Haha
You definitely have a nice machine, I love it's small footprint!!! I used to give away all my scraps too, now that I know there's a market for smoker wood, there definitely won't be much left to give away. Plus having the boiler I'll start keeping everything too 💪💪
Howdy Jeff!! It left the property yesterday actually 😂🤣now the waiting games begins, but shhhh. It's a surprise 🍻 hope you're doing great brother 💪 Happy Sunday!
Well, mines 8.1cu/ft and holds 60-70 average size heating pieces in a load similar to that. 10 bags? Edit, just did a load and counted, 58. So 50-60 stacked. 40-50 thrown
Jack, itching to see what you are going to have in your wood yard another excellent piece of work and video 😮😊❤👍

Inquiring minds want to know what the new piece of equipment is coming to the wood yard?
It will be a few months, but i think it will be more fitting to my needs
