As expected, another great video! I'm diamond and almost didn't click when i read 'gold', but it helped me too. Ranny, if you don't get as many views on this one, consider making the heading more friendly to non-beginners, it's a shame for people not to watch these.

I do a bad first touch with the ball in the air and on the ground...
I don’t understand the distance and speed between the ball and me. This can be corrected by moving the camera away, but then I start stupidly smearing the ball ... Oops
Anyway, thanks for this video. I will improve my skill
I feel the same way in diamond 2/3s and plat 2 in ones..... ive always wanted a first touch tutorial with training pack when i got this notification it was an instant watch followed by 90 minutes in this pack...
One tip to get a good first touch to control the ball is to hit it gently the exact opposite way it is comming from to kill the momentum of the ball. Easier said that done obviously it comes with practise :)

I'm in GC and this helped. I found I've been catching the ball wrongly all this time. Would potentially revise this to be more like "Ground Control Basics - Catching the ball"

A bad first touch at an angle (preferably away from your opponent) is still much better than a bad touch straight in front of you since you have to use even more boost to catch up to it, and its pushing the ball towards your opponent most the time :D

Bronze-Gold lol I'm C3 and this video helped me. Although I'm Plat 3 in 1v1. This could be why..
Bronze to gold? I wouldn't start this anywhere below gold. It's way too advanced for silvers and most golds will have a very hard time even with basics here

Recently got GC rewards in 2s and been GC in 3s, yet there is some stuff in this video that I could definitely work on!
Love finding like silver 3s in 1s when I’m a gold 2 and losing a ton of mmr to somebody that’s better than me but is a much lower rank, fun!
Thats the problem I had with 1s I was dribbling straight so I couldn't see the other player plus if I missed i would be out of position. Thanks for the help
Meanwhile I just reached champ 1 today and still pass the ball to enemies. I have this habit where im out of boost and push the ball to the side to buy some time. In 1V1 this always works but im doing the same hanits in 2s and 3s ughhh
I think its a bit sad that I'm champ1 in 2s and 3s and I cant do any dribbling or flick very well so thanks for the video it was very helpful

But how do you mLe sure the ball stays on your car? When I try to get the ball on my car it jumps away
