Thank you for sharing your story. I always wondered how that program worked. I student taught in 2nd and 3rd grade. It was totally out of my element. That's typically how it falls lol 😁
I will be teaching 4th grade ELA this year! I taught fifth for two years and loved it. This past year, I experimented and taught 6th grade ELA and SS. I'm looking forward to being back in elementary
Hi Tierraney! Thank you for posting such valuable information. I’ve been accepted into TFA and I was wondering if you know of anyone not being able to get hired at all after institute ended. Is this a possibility?
Great video! Do you get to pick what grade you want to teach in TFA? I don't think I could handle high school students! Lol Also, do you get to pick the location that you want to teach at? Thank you so much! :)
Hi Lindsey, you get to rank your preferences for what you would like to teach such as elementary, early childhood and secondary. However, the actual grade level and subject is after that once you actually get connected with districts and principals. Same goes for location you select your top regions and they pick from their aligning you with your skill set and background. let me know what other questions you have!!! (:
Hi! I am applying to do TFA and I wanted to ask you some questions about how you navigate the program as a Christian! Let me know if it would alright to shoot you an email or a message via you tube :)
