This is so pretty, and is perfect if you don't have a ton of time to fully paint a background stamp like this. Great idea and it turned out beautifully
I have never been a fan of color smooshing techniques, but your way to create a base for more coloring has converted me. I have to try this. It turned out just amazing. Thank you.
Thanks for your review of these new markers. Was eyeing them the other day but decided to wait until I heard something about them. Thanks again for sharing. Loved this card also.
Kristina, love your coloring! Such a colorful and creative card! I can’t decide between the cosmo background stamp or gerbera daisy background stamp. Thank you!
I noticed Simon used your card as their sample with these markers. Bravo 👏👏👏 The card is so pretty. That stamp, do I need to say more! God bless ❤ XOXO
This is very pretty, love it. For those of us who can not afford to purchase a new toy, can this same thing be done with our zig clean color markers? I can't see why it couldn't be done with them, but want to make sure.... I am still very new to all of this, so just checking. TFS.
Those markers look very interesting, but I am wondering how they compare to Zig (which I have) and Tombow. Not to mention Jane Davenport Mermaid, Nuvo, Altenew. It's hard to know whether or not to purchase a new medium when it is so similar to ones already out there.
I haven't used all of those, so I can't compare directly. But I will say this... I LOVE the felt tips on these markers, and there is no leaking of ink onto my hands. The colors are vibrant and the tips seem more juicy to me (as compared to Tombow markers). I can use these on regular watercolor paper (as opposed to only getting good results on Bristol with regular markers like Tombow). I've thoroughly enjoyed the Karin markers, and love them even more each time I use them. :)
@@kwernerdesign Thanks for your reply! I do love the Zig, but you're right that you can't get the best results on watercolor paper. I love all types of coloring mediums but it gets confusing. . .I don't know which are dye-based, for example, just which are water-reactive and which are alcohol. So I do appreciate that I can learn new things from you trying out these new mediums and sharing your results. 😊
I noticed you were using a Gemini Jr. My acrylic plates warped very quickly. Do you have any ideas on how to flatten them again? LOVE the vibrant and pretty card!!
@@kwernerdesign Maybe I did not flip them often enough. I may try to microwave them for a few seconds, and then see if I can flatten them out a bit. They do not go thru well when they are very warped.
This card is gorgeous and I'm intrigued by the markers. How would you compare them to Zig Real Brush Markers? Similar, totally different, or.....? Thanks so much for sharing!!
Nice video with a technique that looks achievable...maybe anyway! Just can't believe someone thought we need more watercolor brushes....sigh. A comparison video of the top four might be interesting...can't believe there's all that much difference...but who knows?
Marilyn Bailey you don’t have to buy them all, im grateful for channels that show us all the great options out there bc some are more accessible and affordable than others depending on where you live in the world, you also don’t need a full set of each one if you like multiple brands, just get a few colors of each to make your own full set
I totally get where you're coming from. However, I feel that these markers are the best dye-based fluid ink markers out there at the moment. There really is a difference. I think for watercoloring techniques, fluid ink is better (I have a better experience when it comes to regular watercolor paper) and I haven't had any leaking issues with the Karin markers (a problem I've had with other brands).
K Werner Design this is why you & Jennifer McGuire are my favorites because I know you are both genuine and I can trust your opinion on products and not waste my money.

Same here. Now I’m gonna give the smooshing a go. Kristina is so pleasant to watch and she makes it look “do-able”.
Senza parole..... sei una garanzia !!!

I love your videos. They are so relaxing to watch!
Beautiful finished project and perhaps easy enough for me to do. I’m intrigued by the markers. Are they refillable?
No, I do not believe so.
Soo pretty! Thanks for sharing. :-)
I love this technique and didn't take a lot of time to do. Great work! tfs ; )

Mine are warped, too. I just try to flip them over periodically so they bend the other direction.

Beautiful card! Do you make an envelope for the 5x7 card? Thank you!
No, I'll likely used a premade envelope. :)
❤️❤️❤️
where can i buy this brush marker
Oh-My-Watercolors! New media to try out... Yes, please! TFS
A-ma-zing!
How do these pens do with lettering?
They’re fantastic!
I saw them recently on the “how to hand letter” channel & she liked them too
I am first to your video.. 😃 😃
