Love Pompano but REALLY love Whiting. I scale em, leave the skin on and then strip em for tacos.

I agree that pompano while good; you can get tired of it. Whiting are good all the time...they are very mild and take seasoning very well...

Pompano is the cleanest sweetest fish I’ve ever ate . Superior to red snapper. You done lost taste buds 😂
