This identification of our bodies as "I" is mistaken and it's called Ignorance in most Eastern philosophies.
This Ignorance is what makes us think or imagine that we are separate individuals living in a body-mind mechanism.
We think we are our bodies. In Truth, there is no separation. Separation or thinking you are an individual separate and apart from other humans in the universe is impossible.
This "I" which creates the illusion of separation is called "Ego".
It does not exist because it is an illusion. When you ask your yourself this one important question 'Who I Am I?', you will find out you cannot find this "I".
Your body and mind are things "You" have, not things you Are.
That's why we say 'I have a body' and not say 'I am a body' because that sounds ridiculous.
Therefore, if our bodies are things we have or possess, then the next logical question to ask yourself is this: 'Who or What is this "I" that owns the body and mind?
If you are interested in finding out more why the word "I" does not exist, I suggest you look into this philosophy 'Advaita Vedanta" or look into accounts of "enlightened people" like Ramana Maharshi or even The Bhudda.
We are all One.
God alone is real, everything else your five sense can do or feel including your own body or even the entire universe is not.
That whole video was just so much deeper than just fighting it was about life and dealing with stress and people and negative expand and contract peaks and valleys Bruce Lee was a freaking genius God bless him
BRUCE'S ENGLISH AT THIS TIME WAS REAL GOOD. IN A LOT OF HIS EARLIER INTERVIEWS YOU CAN STILL HEAR THE HEAVY CANTONESE ACCENT THAT HE HAD. THEY'LL NEVER BE ANOTHER 1 LIKE HIM.
Yes, anyone can be like him but every body is to lazy now days.
That does not sound like his real voice
His English was very good, in his earlier films the Hongkong studios wanted him to overr emphasis his Chinese-English accent. Or so I've read somewhere.
Bruce was American. He could speak English fine. He simply had an accent
One of the greatest philosophers to ever lived. RIP King
He's talking about flowing freely, ready to adjust to any shape or form like water as he mentioned in one of his famous quote...."Be water, my friend"😮🔥
Bruce Lee my main man my power my everything
He was a good actor.
My childhood idol and still to this day. I attribute my body to him - it was carved through pain, sweat and effort and yet, it is a mere shadow of his great physique.
That’s kinda Gay
Wishing he was still here his teachings are memorable.
I MISS HIM, JUST IMAGINE IF HE WAS STILL ALIVE THE MOVIES HE WOULD CONTINUE TO MAKE❤❤❤😊😊😊
He really was the man
Who did he really fight in real life? there are no records or real footage of any real fights of him.
@@standforhumanitariancauses4756 There is no written works by Socrates. He is considered the founder of western philosophy.
@@dangerrayy Bruce Lee lived in an era of modern technology. Such as video recordings, Televisions, etc........... You can't compare that to Socrates and the era he lived in,. If he had real fights or competitions with real known fighters, there should be some films of that, but it's NOT. He was just person who was obsessed with fighters and fighting styles. And practiced moves, but never challenged any known top fighters, no competitions. And he also said that old Chinese martial arts are NOT effective in real fights. And there's a video of him hitting a punching bag, he didn't look impressive at all. That goes to show any boxer his weight could've easily knocked him out.
@@standforhumanitariancauses4756I am glad you recognise this. Some people don't. Michael Jai White recognised this and had his career sabotaged
@@standforhumanitariancauses4756 oh boy... I think it is good to be sceptical but I disagree with your logic. Plato has writings, who was the student of socrates. Lee hitting the punching bag could have been any kind of drill (pehaps punching power ). There is videos /movies showing lees technique. But most importantly, look through the Tao of jeet kun do, the accumulation of Lees notes on fighting and tell me they aren't the blue print for modern mma. He was not chinese martial artist. He was a mixed martial artist.
An underrated actor
Are you kidding?
Bruce is describing Ultra Instinct 😁
