  • Columbia said it is canceling its university-wide commencement because of security concerns. Instead, the school said students can celebrate at "smaller, school-based ceremonies.” Meanwhile, more pro-Palestinian protests continue at other NYC campuses, like at Hunter College on the Upper East Side. NBC New York's Chris Jose and Gaby Acevedo have team coverage.

The language on those flyers is not causing any alarm in our community. This reporter is just trying to twist the narrative.

People are dying in a horrible way in Gaza and some are worried about the ceremony!

You are referring to the hostages that Hamas has?
FYI, we have over 80,000 illegal children who China Joe's administration has "lost". Where is the outrage there? What about all of the people getting killed by criminals in our country? Where is that outrage? You should be ashamed for supporting terrorists.

Divesting from an Apartheid state is not an unreasonable demand.

Then request divestment from the Gaza Strip, where there is actual apartheid. There were ZERO Jews in Gaza since 2005. There are over 2 million Arabs in Israel who all hold equal rights. A muslim Arab judge, Khaled Kabub holds a supreme court position in the thriving democracy that is Israel. It's very clear where there is apartheid. Stop spreading lies, the truth will always come out.

We salute the peaceful people of all religions, students and female students of all religions who are protesting peacefully and against Israeli oppression in various universities, schools and colleges for the cause of Palestinians. They are protesting today in America, Britain, Australia and European countries. Our prayers and all our love are with these people and we love them. Thank you.

You intentionally didn't interview the parents that are totally fine with it and as Columbia alumni, I can find you several hundred parents who are thrilled by this and by their children's actions. Way to keep this narrative going. Shitty journalism as always.
