I recommend Accel World too, specially if you like SAO, because is obvious that the 2 stories are going to be connected (Accel World is a story of the same author of SAO, both stories share the same universe, that's something official and it happens 20 years in the future of the events of SAO 2046)

Actually, I liked SAO, though I will readily admit it's full of corniness and cheese. Not necessarily the good kind always, either. Nevertheless I enjoyed it for what it was, and I especially enjoyed the Abridged Series poking fun. But love it or hate it, the Soundtrack was always gorgeous. And this has ramped it up to 11.

The reasons they claim it's bad: -OP Gary Stu MC -Sexist -poor character development -rApE ScEnEs -Generic A-1 artstyle (they'll praise western games that look exactly the second however) The real reasons they Hate SAO: -The protagonist is a nice guy who's strong -the strong protagonist is a male and if a series has a strong male "IT'S SEXIST!!" -None of the girls cut their long hair short (because haircuts are good narrative or something) -The Villains are often really evil (when all villains must have a justifiable reason to be evil unless they're white men then they have to be literal Nazis)
