People saying Zhao Lusi had plastic surgery need to understand that there is recovery time for every procedure. So there is no way to film, make public appearances at award shows or as a brand ambassador, or make commercials, and have plastic surgery at the same time. Even if she did, is it anyone's business? Of all the Chinese dramas I've watched, and there have been many, Ordinary Greatness is the one I consider perfect. The script, direction, actors, and locations are all perfect. I loved it and have already watched it twice.
Thanks for guiding and discovery in the rich production of chinese dramas. Actors and actresses, even if they do a lot of care, are more prone to skin problems... due to heavy set make-up many days in a row. Hair and neck from heavy hair pieces take a toll too...
What Lusi did is so relatable, except for the double eyelid tape coz I don't use them 😂 The way her nose ended up so red it's like a ripe tomato, happens to all of us who try to remove our whiteheads and blackheads. I just love how relatable she is and she doesn't care much for her haters' opinions of her.

Finished DNAD 2 days ago and gave it a 9.5/10 and YAMLF today and that got an 8/10. So only have LITD which I watch every other day, a Thai drama and something American returned for season 6. Well not using stunt doubles is considered an honorable thing and in this case, CY do want to do his own stunts. Hes a guy and every guy probably have a wuxia dream where they get to do cool stunts and fight choreography. Ppl also make fun of you if you use too much stunt doubles and this matter will get magnified by haters and rival fandoms

These stunts are his own hardwork and willingness to learn to things and do his best as an actor!!

I felt both are on similar lines though kdrama had 16 episodes and the cdrama 30 which I felt was an overkill. Steven Zhang is good actor but I felt there are better dramas in which he can do well. Also watched the limbo.. Quite interesting. And dark day and night. Such genre where the dramas highlight the era about the tussles between two or more countries and the Internal conflicts gets a bit tediuis as there are many such dramas with different actors. The plot line is the same where they are fight good and bad and the good wins in the end. It was ok for a one time watch. I see lot of dramas passing review but am not sure what am I exactly wanting to watch. Though I am fan of thrillers, crime and mystery and law dramas. So let's wait and watch
There's no need to go under the knife now to improve one's facial features. Do a search on youtube and see many videos on this state of the art non-invasive procedure. My colleague did one - she has a small hump on her nose bridge, like Crystal Liu's. But she hated it. One day, she went after work to a clinic to straightem her nose. The doctor injected some filler to smoothen her nose. She said it could last for aboit 6 months! She didn't have any down time😅
If you have seen Lusi's childhood photos from when she was a totddler, to her highschool photo, her college photo, her earlier works as an actress, you will see her nose never changed shape. She lost a lot of weight which made her entire face lose baby fats, that includes her nose. I remember when my sister was borderline obese, her face was so round and her nose was fat. Now she has shrunken to a healthier size, even her nose lost fats. Her nose now looks like our mom's. That's the effect of of losing weight. Also, have you seen Lusi's parents??? They both have high bridge noses, but Lusi's looks more like her dad than her mom.

I do not like Cheng Yi one bit, but RESPECT for him and other actors (Luo Y for ex,Liu YouNing et al) who are true daredevils to make their dramas look great, and take a lot of pain for it. That is true dedication. You have to worry about historic drama actors also when you look at the awful quality of the horses they have to ride. Accidents waiting to happen! I have nearly finished Dark Night and Dawn. Everything about this drama has been excellent. There could have been more in the way of production values, but that is only nitpicking. The acting is beyond extremely good. Watch this drama if only to educate yourself about the dirty deeds of the KMT in the early days of the PRC in Shanghai!
That's what I was thinking- maybe fillers and weight loss. And yes, she looks super pale, but that could be because of the lighter hair color. Leading to a lighter makeup color palette, making her look paler.
She looks pale with insane schedules.. too busy to eat sometimes.. and yeah from 50 KGs to 38 Kgs are quite a weight loss... and probably make up and hair too

You're another one of those idiots who has no understanding of the recovery period required for people who has had plastic surgery. The 1st 3 months after the surgery your face will be swollen and bruised, like you got into a vehicular accident and you will have very visible bruising aside from swelling. You will be required to stay indoors at all times and avoid any form of exercise and will need to avoid touching the face for 3-6 months. It is only on the 7th month will the swelling to really go down completely and will allow you to do minimal light exercises. It takes a full year for the surgery to be completely healed and be allowed to "manhandle" your face like pressing and twisting the nose. So tell me, with Lusi's extremely busy monthly schedule since 2022, when have you seen her face swollen, bruised, and covered in bandages???????? Remember how long the recovery period is and how long the swelling and bruising stays???? USE YOUR FUCKING COMMON SENSE IF YOU HAVE ANY. Also, I have seen The Romance Of Tiger And Rose (TROTAR) and other than her face being chubby, her eyebrows being straight, and her teeth a little bit wonky, she looks exactly the same as she does now. The only difference now is she lost so much weight, which does changes a person's physical visage. Only Lusi's blind, stupid idiotic haters would still insist that she has had plastic surgery. And FYI, TROTAR is one of my fave dramas of hers that I still watch from time to time. Stay pressed bitch! 😂

People saying Zhao Lusi had plastic surgery need to understand that there is recovery time for every procedure. So there is no way to film, make public appearances at award shows or as a brand ambassador, or make commercials, and have plastic surgery at the same time. You would have to take time off for recovery. I'm not arguing with anyone, I just don't know when she would have had time for this total face plastic surgery that people are saying she's had. Even if she did, is it anyone's business? Kim Kardashian has probably had more plastic surgery on her behind than any actress in China would think about getting in her lifetime but we don't worry about that. 🤷🏼♀️

What Lusi did is so relatable, except for the double eyelid tape coz I don't use them 😂 The way her nose ended up so red it's like a ripe tomato, happens to all of us who try to remove our whiteheads and blackheads. I just love how relatable she is and she doesn't care much for her haters' opinions of her.

Well not using stunt doubles is considered an honorable thing and in this case, CY do want to do his own stunts. Hes a guy and every guy probably have a wuxia dream where they get to do cool stunts and fight choreography. Ppl also make fun of you if you use too much stunt doubles and this matter will get magnified by haters and rival fandoms
From what I read, Cheng Yi started out as a stunt double, so he is well-versed in setting up stunts and does most of his own.

He WENT TO COLLEGE for acting. NOT a stunt double. He immediately signed to a (now bankrupt) acting label, too!! These stunts are his own hardwork and willingness to learn to things and do his best as an actor!!

Hi Marcus. Thanks for the updates. I am watching You are my lover friend. And simultaneously watching Love Next Door kkdrama on Netflix. I felt both are on similar lines though kdrama had 16 episodes and the cdrama 30 which I felt was an overkill. Steven Zhang is good actor but I felt there are better dramas in which he can do well. Also watched the limbo.. Quite interesting. And dark day and night. Such genre where the dramas highlight the era about the tussles between two or more countries and the Internal conflicts gets a bit tediuis as there are many such dramas with different actors. The plot line is the same where they are fight good and bad and the good wins in the end. It was ok for a one time watch. I see lot of dramas passing review but am not sure what am I exactly wanting to watch. Though I am fan of thrillers, crime and mystery and law dramas. So let's wait and watch

There's no need to go under the knife now to improve one's facial features. Do a search on youtube and see many videos on this state of the art non-invasive procedure. My colleague did one - she has a small hump on her nose bridge, like Crystal Liu's. But she hated it. One day, she went after work to a clinic to straightem her nose. The doctor injected some filler to smoothen her nose. She said it could last for aboit 6 months! She didn't have any down time😅
If you have seen Lusi's childhood photos from when she was a totddler, to her highschool photo, her college photo, her earlier works as an actress, you will see her nose never changed shape. She lost a lot of weight which made her entire face lose baby fats, that includes her nose. I remember when my sister was borderline obese, her face was so round and her nose was fat. Now she has shrunken to a healthier size, even her nose lost fats. Her nose now looks like our mom's. That's the effect of of losing weight. Also, have you seen Lusi's parents??? They both have high bridge noses, but Lusi's looks more like her dad than her mom.

I have nearly finished Dark Night and Dawn. Everything about this drama has been excellent. There could have been more in the way of production values, but that is only nitpicking. The acting is beyond extremely good. Watch this drama if only to educate yourself about the dirty deeds of the KMT in the early days of the PRC in Shanghai!

You're another one of those idiots who has no understanding of the recovery period required for people who has had plastic surgery. The 1st 3 months after the surgery your face will be swollen and bruised, like you got into a vehicular accident and you will have very visible bruising aside from swelling. You will be required to stay indoors at all times and avoid any form of exercise and will need to avoid touching the face for 3-6 months. It is only on the 7th month will the swelling to really go down completely and will allow you to do minimal light exercises. It takes a full year for the surgery to be completely healed and be allowed to "manhandle" your face like pressing and twisting the nose. So tell me, with Lusi's extremely busy monthly schedule since 2022, when have you seen her face swollen, bruised, and covered in bandages???????? Remember how long the recovery period is and how long the swelling and bruising stays???? USE YOUR FUCKING COMMON SENSE IF YOU HAVE ANY. Also, I have seen The Romance Of Tiger And Rose (TROTAR) and other than her face being chubby, her eyebrows being straight, and her teeth a little bit wonky, she looks exactly the same as she does now. The only difference now is she lost so much weight, which does changes a person's physical visage. Only Lusi's blind, stupid idiotic haters would still insist that she has had plastic surgery. And FYI, TROTAR is one of my fave dramas of hers that I still watch from time to time. Stay pressed bitch! 😂
