    I have have been trying a variety of gluten free recipes. They have all been pretty bad! I used coconut and rice flour as well as a blend of flours from King Authur Flour. This is the first bread that I think we will actually eat. I used Greek yogurt instead of making it. I also added xanthum gum to the dry ingredients. The texture is pleasing; the taste is good! Thank you!

    Thank you for this recipe, this is a favourite in my house, adding Parmesan and cinnamon is a stroke of genius. I have tried load of different Lchf of keto bread this is the only one I have repeat request. A bit like cake and bread at the same time, thank you. Mine wasn't as crisp as yours, maybe your almond flour is different to mine.

      I am so glad you tried and liked this. I use Sunblest Almond flour from Costco incase if this helps. I just leave it in the oven till the time I get that crispy layer on the top because my husband likes the layer crispy. :)

    This is the best! Im no baker, and it turned out perfect! I cooked it for 45 min at 350 in a glass loaf dish 8.5x4.5x2.5in without parchment paper. The only mistake I made was i turned it over onto the cooling rack too soon and a tiny piece of the bottom kinda broke off cause it was too hot. But the rest of it is well put together and tastes great! Thanks! Im gonna toast it and make some BLTs.

    • @JJ-wd2ym
      @JJ-wd2ym 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Okay so.... update: parchment paper, at least a cut out for the bottom, is a must for my method. But the second time I made it, it was perfect again, and I used cinnamon and raisins!

      Hi @Ma Lu. We personally never tried making it with any other yogurt. You would have to try and test it yourself. You might want to give coconut yogurt a shot. Yes you can use olive or coconut oil instead of butter. Make sure to melt the coconut oil before using it. Good luck! :)

    • @BigTreeHealthandWellness
      @BigTreeHealthandWellness  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry to hear that. Make sure that the batter is of right consistency and not too runny but just incase if it ends up being too runny then just add a bit more flour. It's very important to pre-heat your oven properly. When doing the knife test, if the knife isn't coming out almost clean then definitely it needs more cooking time than what we have mentioned in our video. It all depends on your oven's type. Hope this helps. Thank you so much. :)

      Bree MacDonald Thank you so much for your feedback. Baking soda is nothing but sodium bicarbonate. Its usually the ‘baking powder’ that contains gluten and since its not scd legal we are only using baking soda in this recipe which has nothing to do with gluten. Hope this helps. Ok I’m not so sure what’s going on but my mom made this twice for my diabetic sister and followed the exact measurements and both times it did not rise like this one and it was too wet inside. I’m going to try a difficult recipe sadly 😔 I was hoping this would work as it look so good.

    • @BigTreeHealthandWellness
      @BigTreeHealthandWellness  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi ness joud... I am so sorry to hear that... looks like it needs more cooking time if its too wet from inside... one hour of baking time is what works for me but your baking time may vary depending on the capacity of your oven....so if you are inserting a knife or stick in the loaf and if its coming out with batter sticking around it then it definitely needs more time in the oven....also, i am sure you have the oven all preheated before popping the pan inside as preheating is equally important. I really hope this helps. Good luck!! :)

    Your video cries out for honest criticism. You wasted my time completely. What did you offer, that has not been posted 1,000,000 times already. 50% of the video was personal info, which was clearly an amateur's effort to gain interest. Your speech, with " AHH " every third word was quickly painful. In concussion, just take down your video, and improve it, if your are seriously trying to benefit anyone.
    This was meant as constructive criticism, so you can honestly improve, if you want too.
    There are so many better videos, and recipes, so WOW, this was a big disappointment.
