You should conduct testing in a noisy environment, cuz most content creators who conducted a movo review, did the mic testing in a wide but quiet surrounding...I think Kola did a sound test on his e-scooter..but was like 2 seconds only...it would be very helpful to owners of Insta360 X2,3 to watch a review of the Movo mic in a pub or market...thanx much...well done to your in-depth review of Movo.

I wound up buying a DJI Mic system and it's great, but this Movo mic is really good for an inexpensive option.

Hi Keith. Thank you for making this video. Can you set the gain on the mic? Also what in camera db do you recommend when using the mic with the X3?
Thanks for your comment. You can't set the gain with the Movo mic, but there is one button for noise reduction on or off. I found that bumping the dB to a little over halfway got near perfect sound.

Does it really work well with Insta360 X3? Did you encounter any problems? Is it comparable to the expensive ones?
Very impressive with the X3. If you get the X3 mic adapter and plug the mic directly into the adapter there is no cord at all. Sound is fantastic!

If you use the 2 microphones does the gopro record the audio as a stereo audio with each stream from each mic separate or are they mixed in the same stream as mono?

thanks question i have a sony zv1f and i use a teleprompter the hdmi output is right below the 3.5 mm jack on the camera can the part you plug into the camera can it be turned 90 degrees so i can still use the hdmi port? thanks
Yes it can. You should be able to position it any direction you choose

I imagine it would. 3.5 usually locks in pretty good when plugged in.

@Carlos Hill the x3 mic adapter sits in pretty tight, but yeah a big jolt could probably unseat it.
