I bought mermaid hard wax and warmer it was my first time waxing it was quick and painless the mermaid wax is easy to use. And all the videos are extremely helpful Thanks
Hey, I really love your videos I'm an Esthetician from Kenya and there's not too much information here about waxing and this really helps Thanks alot ❣️
I have the little bits happen to me sometimes, as I'm still learning. Usually putting a smaller strip over it helps to get those up without picking at them.
This is what happened the first time I had a Brazilian. So now I’m hesitant to have it done again. So for the past week I’ve been watching tutorials. The lady never made sure there wasn’t frays of wax on the edges. She had to pick off a ton of pieces and it hurt like heck 😫 should I do it myself the first time? Or should I watch a professional do it on me first? I just bought a kit to do it myself. I’m excited but nervous. Lol
Your videos are fantastic! I do have a question though. I bought some hard wax beads and a warmer online. I went to wax the other day and I found that even on the lowest setting, the wax warmer was causing the wax to be too liquidy. Is it okay to turn the warmer on and off during the process to maintain a good texture, or should I leave it on? Like I said, even with the dial turned the lowest it was very liquidy and I could not get a smooth or consistent applicaton of wax. Thanks in advance girl :)
Angie Pink I used GiGi's post wax cooling gel for years actually! I just recently started using Starpil's post wax gel since some of you guys asked me to try it. But I love both!!
Hi my name is evelyn and I both the "Bestidy Wax Beads" and the "Bouvetan Hard Wax Beans" from Amazon and I'm using my Avepio wax warmer when applying it like normal is ok but when removing it gets super sticky and kind of gooey it doesn't come off hard like normal am I going something wrong please help
Is it true that sugaring is better because you apply against the hair growth and pull with the hair growth? I am just curious because I have noticed that I get quite a few ingrowns after doing my brazillians. What do you think?
Oh no, in an area that has coarse hair you always want to apply in the direction of the hair growth first. Then you can do clean up strips in the opposite direction of the hair growth! Are you exfoliating every couple of days after your Brazilian wax?
HK Wax Center - Austin Arbor Yes. I am starting to exfoliate more often and I am applying tea tree oil and jojoba on my skin :) I have seen some improvement.
I love the videos very helpful, I have the same starpil wax, and was wondering how do I get the consistency of the wax. I think I am applying it too soon after heating and it isnt as thick. How do I know when to use it?
Hai, I have questions after we wax do we need put something to our skins like alovera gel and what do you think wax bean Brazilian is good quality or not? Sorry I asking to many questions
I am not able to get the consistency like you. I bought kotamu hard bean wax kit on Amazon. When I try to take wax on to the sticks, I could see strings of wax and not able to apply wax so nicely as a sheet. And it hurts like crazy when I peel. Is this because of the brand or I did not melt to right temperature
HK Wax Center - Austin Arbor awesome! And thank you so much for replying! Love your videos! I’ve only worked with Lycon hard wax and hated it. I’m used to Nufree
Hi I have the blue starpil tablets and the consistency of the wax looked like molasses but as I started to apply it the wax started to break and very hard to smooth it on. What am I doing wrong?? Plz help....is the wax too cold? Or does it need to be thicker?
HK Wax Center - Austin Arbor I just started waxing and I bought myself a wax warmer and the only hard wax that was in the whole store was this one called ItalWax. I used it and i think its pretty good but im a newbie to waxing
I feel like my word might be biased, but my Channel has always reflected my truth at that time. So the products you see I've reviewed & used are still an accurate truth (again) -at that time. Not exactly sure why you'd want the second or third best wax though? Is there more info you can share so that I can help better? Considering we're less than any other premium brand AND better I'm perplexed.
Hi! I’ve been using this wax for about three months now and I feel like I’m getting better at it but I also feel like I get more ingrown hairs than when I used soft wax. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong?
It is but it’s a hygiene issue. You don’t want to double dip with an applicator that’s been used for a Brazilian, then dip into that same wax for another client

Can you please make mermaid wax available here in the uk?🥺

Yes that definitely works!
what do I warm the wax at?
You are best teacher on your subject ❤️
Aw thank you so much!

Oh no! I'm so sorry that happened to you :( I would recommend going to a professional but make sure you check reviews!!
Your videos are so helpful. Thank you so much
I just wish you had International shipping... 🥺🥺

Hello Haley! Yes you can definitely turn it off and on to keep the wax at a good temperature.
Can you do a deminstration with a hard wax that stays stretchy pls
Hi I want to ask if you ever used the Gigi skin calming lotion and GiGi post wax cooling gel? If so is it any good?
Angie Pink I used GiGi's post wax cooling gel for years actually! I just recently started using Starpil's post wax gel since some of you guys asked me to try it. But I love both!!

Kind of hard to lay down a strip like that when you get around the labia… So what’s your technique? By the way I also prefer hard wax
Stretch the skin up and then lay the strip! Helps a TON

I applied the wax in the opposite direction of hair growth I think that messed me up and I always have wax residue
What if my arm hairs go to the side and not down words or upwards? What direction do I go? Side ways or

It takes a while to get the wax to move like honey or molasses. The whole process is about 30 minutes. Otherwise you can burn yourself!
Where did you get your big stainless wax pot?
A company called RiteHete!
How much is your smallest bag
The smallest bag is 1.1lbs :)
I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEEE YOUR VIDEOS!!!
Aw thank you so much!!

You just have to keep stirring, it sounds like you need to make it warmer?
So.... I have fine blonde baby hairs on my legs. I have tried hard and soft wax before. Will the Mermaid wax get all of those stupid hairs?
Love ur waxing vid you should be famous
I’ve seen another waxer mix the clear starpil blocks into the blue starpil to make it more pliable... have you tried this?
Yes I actually made a video on this as well! I loved it!
HK Wax Center - Austin Arbor awesome! And thank you so much for replying! Love your videos! I’ve only worked with Lycon hard wax and hated it. I’m used to Nufree
Absolutely love these videos! I just purchased 'Satin Smooth Calandula gold' Hard Wax. Is this an ok quality in your opinion?
Aw thank you! I haven't used that particular wax but haven't been a fan of Satin Smooth in general. Let me know what you think!
Hi I have the blue starpil tablets and the consistency of the wax looked like molasses but as I started to apply it the wax started to break and very hard to smooth it on. What am I doing wrong?? Plz help....is the wax too cold? Or does it need to be thicker?
Try Mermaid Wax, Starpil is old news :)
does it matter if you pull up the wax slow or fast ?
Mostly fast but in videos like this I will pull it slow so you can see it.
HK Wax Center - Austin Arbor ok thanks :)
Hello, your videos have been helping me a lot! I have a question though, do you think ItalWax is a good quality wax?
Hello, i heard there was a difference in the blue wax (how or what its made of) if it comes in beads or block? form
Aw thank you!! I've never heard of ItalWax before... is it a hard wax?
chris helfrich I've used both the beads and the tablets and I can't tell any difference between the two. They acted the same to me!
HK Wax Center - Austin Arbor I just started waxing and I bought myself a wax warmer and the only hard wax that was in the whole store was this one called ItalWax. I used it and i think its pretty good but im a newbie to waxing
Ah gotcha! As long as it doesn't break/snap when you remove it and it's actually gribbing the hair then you should be fine!
Game changer!!! Thank you!!!
No problem!!
Witch color is th best for face pls
Mermaid Wax
what are a list of some high quality waxes you recommend besides yours of course ;)

My hand hair is going every where . Cause I used Razer how can I wax IAM not pro in it ..
Hi! I’ve been using this wax for about three months now and I feel like I’m getting better at it but I also feel like I get more ingrown hairs than when I used soft wax. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong?
Ps. I do exfoliate a least once a week.
Oh that's not good. It sounds like the hairs are breaking, I would make sure you are using a lot of pressure and applying in the right direction!
Wax name plz
When I apply the wax it breaks in pieces when I try to strip. It doesn’t come off smooth like you show. Any idea why that happens?
Did you make a lip at the end?
Sounds like it might be too thin, or the edges aren't smooth. I really have to pay attention, or I have it break on me too.
The amout of applicators they throw away is painfull!! Or is it just me.
It is but it’s a hygiene issue.
You don’t want to double dip with an applicator that’s been used for a Brazilian, then dip into that same wax for another client
Could you please tell me around how many grams of wax you use for waxing each part of the body?
Honestly it varies greatly depending on the size of the person and the amount of hair they have...
Yeah and as I learned, if you are new to it....you waste a lot until you get better! :-)
Does she have a tattoo before?
Yes I've had it for years!
Love u mam
YOU Are really beautiful !!
I'm such a fan
Is there a video for waxing lady mustaches? those pesky little upper lip hairs that older women get.
❤❤
You put too much strip wax and you need to do very thin no thick
Your way is wrong
Then I guess you don't want to be right.
