I can absolutely, wholeheartedly agree with you guys saying the people on the boat are rude. Not the staff, I mean the actual “guests”. I just returned yesterday from MSC Seascape east Caribbean cruise and wow, I probably won’t return only because of the type of people that go on these. A lot of different people were on the boat and I think their way of thinking and behaving is different from the US. No manners, shoving, skipping in lines, skipping to get on the elevators, no excuse me, etc. If you go on this cruise, just keep this in mind, you’ll need a bit more patience. Crew was top notch though! Shout out to Ted the cruise director for doing a wonderful job.

Just finished my cruise 2 days ago. Agree with everything you said….especially about the layout of the ship. Very tricky to find things. The buffet layout is terrible! By the time you get everything you need your food is cold. I am actually noticing through your video that we missed a lot of things. With that being said the MSC private island was amazing….my highlight. Crew was great.

oooh thanks for taking the time to share this experience and opinion! its important for others to read as many opinions as possible.
also.. its why I LOVE MSC RANCH DRESSING!!! you can have it cold. because guaranteed by the time you get your food and magically locate your meatball boyfriend amongst the crowds.. a few days have passed.

Been on the Seascape twice in the last year. MSC had no control over how guests act. Yes, there are rude people, but nowhere can you go that you don't have to deal with rude people. We had a fabulous time because we didn't expect to be treated like royalty and have our bums kissed. It's a cruise ship, not a personal yacht. The food, staff and trip were great. If you want to be treated like royalty, then rent a yacht, not go on a cruise ship!

it's the parents responsibility not the cruise ship. We had no problems and did take our 12 year old in LA Caberet Rouge with us after 11. We wanted him to experience it. No reason to not allow children under 18, if they are supervised properly by the parents. Sounds like alot of people need to take an adults only cruise if they don't want children to be around.

Cruise ships usually have a curfew for all under 18 , which is until 1:00 am. This was on harmony of the seas. But 2 years ago I was on the msc seashore for thanksgiving week and it was about 1/3 full, so me and my friend group got to do anything at anytime.

Would not take this cruise again. Food - mediocre. Must fight crowd for food- be lucky if you get seating at buffet
Your lucky if you get chairs at pools. If you were lucky to get a chair hopefully it would not have grease on it.
Some help was rude rightly so given the rudeness of many entitled passengers.
If msc wants more passengers then have the amenities to accommodate them. You will be lost for most of your voyage on ship. Save your money. If you want to cruise take a smaller ship.

Successful cruises and cruise ships depends on what you are looking for. You will never get a true balanced consensus. Rule of thumb. If you are on a budget or first timer, try the smaller ships first. If you can afford it, the high end suites on a larger ship offers more value and better experience. Often it is the where (do you want to go) and the who (target market/clientele you are sailing with) that will determine your experience. Consider the last sentence carefully and you will have a better experience.

@@ChristineLozada Our first cruise with MSC was outside the Yacht Club and we didn't want to ever cruise with them again.
However, I decided to give YC a chance and I'm so glad I did. Some reasons:
      - The passenger:crew ratio is 1.25:1 in YC (vs 3.5:1 outside it), so the service is incredible
      - The food in the YC is significantly better, even the buffet on the pool deck is better
      - No lines for any bars or having to fight to get a lounger on the pool deck
      - Embarkation is a breeze, no waiting in lines
      - Priority tender at all the ports
YC isn't just better than the main areas, it's better than the suite areas on other cruise lines (i.e. Retreat on Celebrity Ave the Haven on NCL), even though it's half the price of those.
Try it and see for yourself!

So how do you propose that the ship does the announcements, I think that if you had done some research before you went you would know about the Yacht club, which is almost exclusively adult. I guess you did a budget cruise and in a way you get what you paid for. This upcoming November will be out third MSC cruise and we love them. They are budget friendly even when you book in the yacht club, but there are so many benefits. I think that you were also very nit picky, and you wanted to find fault in the cruise line. Have you ever worked in the food industry, there may be a reason for the specialty dining being that way, and for the food to come out the way its supposed to and promptly thats how it is supposed to be. I think your review was prejudicial, and very one sided.

Maybe if you weren’t so hyper critical, or if you didn’t take such offense to comments, don’t have a channel! I’m allowed to express my opinion maybe you should stick to carnival or Royal Caribbean where everyone is a commoner and treated the same. You don’t know what class is stay in your lane!
