I'm so excited to finally get this project out after so long, hope yall enjoy :D. There's still the shademancers & Clunkmasters run in the making to wrap it up as a full package.
I’ve watched Near Zero content of this game, and you edited this to be an absolutely incredibly pleasant watch. I love this a Ton, incredibly well done!!!
wildfrost’s rng is based on every little decision, so the slightest difference in the start of voyix made the rng change in his run. Also voyix, love your content, its been almost a year since i’ve watched every ep when it comes out, def one of the highlights of my day.
My favorite moments: 1. everyone lamenting about not getting enough money first fight and Voyix chilling at 43 2. Potato LOCKING IN after Truffle misplay 3. Lupa standing here, realizing
@@shmarfle47 I didn't even forget that, my brain just saw nutshell cake with strawberry charm and goes "ah yes, this removes 0 hp overall, so it can't kill my unit!"
If it's possible, it would be interesting to see y'all swap saves every now and again during the run, playing through with the new save, to see y'all react and adapt to what the others are doing
I quite like this style of video because of how the different perspectives offer neat changes in playstyle even given a higher level of play. Shows that you don't have to play the same way every time to win and have fun.
this is a really cool concept! I wish i could've seen the names of whoever's pov we were watching at all times tbh, just to ground myself in who they were more than just their profile pics
Wait, that's so weird! It's as if choosing different paths shuffles the charms that appear everywhere. I distinctly noticed that at the start when Vojx chose the road least traveled. It's really an example of Chaos Theory: small changes create huge deviations overtime
Seeded randomness usually works by iterating the seed each time random() is called, presumably you'd seperate each of the types of call though so only calling random.charm() would change the next to appear (as well as obviously rerolling if the charm has already appeared), while say random.rewards() is always consistent.
we actually spent a lot of time with this trying to figure out what's up, the actual (seeming) answer as to why my run is slightly different is that my run before this was a 10 bell modded vanquish, everyone else did a 22 bell unmodded vanquish, which shuffled up my pathing and enemy charm distribution.
That was kinda fun to see how, at the end, the footage of people with a run way too good was so sparse that it was kinda a surprise every time I saw them. "Oh, here's the nova run and it''s someone else now".
suggestion for the ending montage, while it was cool, you REALLY should add some card clicking in it, kinda like how each guy ensemble their crew in a heist movie, not only companions, but pivotal decisions on cards (fungo blaster vs heartmist or whatever it was paired up with, or duping shelbo vs spice stones). it could go something like *music starts* - fade from black first guy clicking on their leader and pet, quickly cuts to the second guy picking their leader and pet (kinda like those side by side scenes where 2 or more people made the same decision) *then first fight* - 1 clip from 1 person from the early set up - 1 clip from another guy hitting gobling (or beating the shit out of the gnome or whatever) - whatever scenes to add, and ends with the best kill or combo on the boss *decision time* - show what unit each person drafted in quick cuts then go to the second fight *and repeat til the end* (with the final fight, u can add the set up phase, first few set up turns and the kill from everyone to wrap it all nicely) - maybe add a "board" listing the crowns on each persons deck as a final "crew" theyve assembled before going to the frost gang (might be jank to implement, if it works would be really cool to see, it not just scrap this) IT JUST SOUNDS SOOOO COOL LIKE THAT, gives more of a "recap" feeling to it and adds a storyline, rather than some random clips stitched together
It was fun to see how everyone differed. The editing was a joy to watch, so many moments only to smash cut to someone doing the exact opposite. Good stuff!
This video is incredible as someone who just got interested in getting this game yesterday! Knowing there isn't one set recipe that is heavily leaned on really makes me more excited to get the game and play Particular best selling point is PotatOS going "Fulbert is funny so I want him" and that ~funny~ choice being like a legitimate pick for others. Funny not being a death sentence is the one of the most important aspects of games to me lmao
First time seeing or hearing about wildfrost, but this video had me enthralled! I hope there’s more like this. I know it’s hard to get large groups to do stuff like this, but it was genuinely so interesting to watch.
Amazing to see this channel has LESS THAN 100 SUBS The video is very well done, very enjoyable even for me, a complete stranger, I don't even know what game this is
This was a real treat to watch. Amazing how many different flavors of run could show up in just this one seed! Anywho, thanks for putting this together, and well done to you all! I really look forward to seeing any other videos like this you put out!
i just found this video and i REALLY wanted to see an after-run conversation and reaction to each others moments. in any case, great video, really cool idea and im suscribed for more ♥
Seeing the cascading effects of even something like the hero and pet selection is fascinating I’ve only watched Voyix so I know his top three pets are all there primarily for providing health early on (obviously spike, sneezle, and booshu who doesn’t tank but makes health less finite), and coupled with the strong hero makes him willing to go for the charm and then pick yuki, while everyone else went firefist for health (loki and gazi can’t really tank, the other person who picked spike didnt choose the longshot hero making the earth berries much scarier) Then the yuki pick leads to pinkberry juice over shellbo vs everyone else
"curse crown nora balance charm" 🤖🤖🤖 jokes aside though this is amazing content! surprised how small the channel was considering the quality, subbed and liked!
@@timetaker7816 I've been told said initial path wasn't the changing factor. Other people diverged on their paths later in the run but their enemy charms remained the same.
Maybe it's because he hadn't unlocked some charms? Or maybe because of skipping enemy waves? Or also because he got a charm at the start, shifting the charms slightly?
@@xaf15001 These are all things the other players did later and they still got the same results. My assumption as of now is that he was playing modded content before this and that somehow affected the seed, though even that is just hearsay.
Ok I really like this kind of thing. Voyix' run felt a bit different and I don't mean his choices, but the charms and stuff he's seen on enemies (besides the first vase piece). Some of these people really don't like recalling. Why let useless hits go on pawpaws and then have companions die?
hurts tempo a ton - you miss out on a card draw and a turn for not a whole lot of benefit especially knowing that pawpaw *has* to die eventually and if you are letting your units hit pawpaw then you are planning to kill it ASAP

Just make sure those seeds don’t have Nova, lol.
@@BaronB.BlazikenBaronOfBarons I'm thinking of possibly banning Nova and call it Storm Bell 23. That's probably for the next season.
