Truly amazing footage. I love it. Did you have any issues with regulations flying in the city or was it just a risk well worth the reward lol. I'm new to drones and nervous about flying around Charlotte. The FAA app doesn't really help that fear.

You should also be careful with flying drones in downtown charlotte. You need Class B Airspace clearance. You may get fined/arrested if the authorities find out you recorded any of your drone footage in that airspace.
Yeah, they have beautiful apartments. Stupid expensive though. a couple buildings I shot were apartments. Charlotte is like a mini New York in my opinion. It's growing a lot.
Charlotte uptown entertainment is better now than when use to live there in 95. But it still has ways to go when you compare it to Atlanta, San Francisco and definitely Chicago.

Anyone give you any problems for flying around there? I thought it was a little close to the airport to legally fly there. I own a Phantom 3 Pro and Inspire 2 and live about 40 minutes way from uptown. Been thinking about flying around there.
yea...unfortunately just about any worthwhile, cool footage of any city is illegal unless it is permitted prior and you have jumped through all the hoops. Stadiums, highways, higher than 400 feet, etc etc all make it for not a very "legal" flight :) its probably a matter of time before they really start cracking down.... but until then... as long as its done within reason and safely, maybe we'll be able to get some awesome footage lol

jerry alexander Entertainment is decent in Uptown Charlotte. Alot of people hang out at the EpiCentre.
