Aespa are rookies from such a huge company and they have obviously worked so hard to get here. Many idols, especially from big companies have had to go through so much shit for their live vocals when they debuted. And I don't think Aespa will go through that. And I think that is worth praising. The bar is really low but thats just how it is.

As an SM stan whose been watching them with their different groups for a long time thru music shows and concerts, I can say that their live vocals only has a bit difference with their recorded one. Like seriously, sm artist was trained so hard especially when performing and singing live and this one is a proof to that. Well, if you know the difference between live singing or not so you won't question it anymore. Anyways, I'll love Aespa's stage today just like from the beginning and they slayed it again. You go girls, just do what you wanted to do and don't mind the people who just wanted attention.

It’s pre recorded. That doesn’t mean that it have to be perfect. SM use unedited versions of the same song to make them sound “live”, so usually they don’t edit out their breath. There is a TH-cam channel that proof how this “more natural pre recordings” are used in different stages with more or less echo to make it sound more real. It’s normal, I think. One day they will sing live and I’m sure it’s going to sound great because their vocals sound nice in these “more natural” audios.
To those saying that Aespa is overrated. Let me tell you. Having a lot of fans does not mean that the said group is overrated. We all have different taste and likes afterall. Having your faves overshadowed by Aespa does not mean that Aespa is overrated. They just debuted but alot of antis are afraid of them. I agree! In this dance, she couldn't dance at her best because her neckline is too low, and her skirt is too short! I know she's wearing shorts, but still, you can clearly see her being uncomfortable and constantly fixing her outfit. SM should stop giving them outfits like these to dance on most especially if the choreo requires a drop and leg stretching

Did you guys never stan top tier vocalists group even in their rookie era? I didnt claim they sing live or dont live. the question is did they even didnt sing live in pre recording? They sing live. So why are we judging them when we already knew the system of music show in korea. Just listening to their vocal tone etc, they are good singers. They have the basic. And SM artists have been known having thin difference from their live vocals and pre record cause they have been trained for so hard and the training was so hard, you can can check yunho video as example. I am not even the stan of aespa, but i saw them singing live in basement, and to see someone has good vocals or not, it is pretty clear. Rookie days is one of the hardest time bcs you still dont know much about the industry, being nervous left and right, even sometimes when you have great vocal, you can be shaky bcs of too much nervous and cant be all out. But that's also the sweetest moment, bcs that's the beginning of process. So, just enjoy the process.

For me, singers from SM, when performing their voices are the same as their recorded music. So, sometimes I don't know if it's lip-syncing or not, even though they're actually singing it live. Stable and perfect, yes it's SM

I think it’s wrong for you to say this it’s insulting to their seniors who have had countless comebacks and gone on tours ,attended events and dealt with a lot of things and still give their best....they just debuted don’t you think it would be embarrassing coming from sm and just debuting and not be able to sing well....all idols do their best when they debut..a good example is blackpink they were on fire when they debuted same with bts,exo,mamamoo and a lot more...I hope aespa can stand the test of time...

Aespa are rookies from such a huge company and they have obviously worked so hard to get here. Many idols, especially from big companies have had to go through so much shit for their live vocals when they debuted. And I don't think Aespa will go through that. And I think that is worth praising. The bar is really low but thats just how it is.

As an SM stan whose been watching them with their different groups for a long time thru music shows and concerts, I can say that their live vocals only has a bit difference with their recorded one. Like seriously, sm artist was trained so hard especially when performing and singing live and this one is a proof to that. Well, if you know the difference between live singing or not so you won't question it anymore.
Anyways, I'll love Aespa's stage today just like from the beginning and they slayed it again. You go girls, just do what you wanted to do and don't mind the people who just wanted attention.

It’s pre recorded. That doesn’t mean that it have to be perfect. SM use unedited versions of the same song to make them sound “live”, so usually they don’t edit out their breath. There is a TH-cam channel that proof how this “more natural pre recordings” are used in different stages with more or less echo to make it sound more real. It’s normal, I think. One day they will sing live and I’m sure it’s going to sound great because their vocals sound nice in these “more natural” audios.

No group deserve to be called overrated or overhyped. All group members work hard to achieve their dream by practicing day n night, and some even neglect their health. We have been waiting for this group since nct's debut, but its been postponed many times due to many sm rookies departed from sm. I agree! In this dance, she couldn't dance at her best because her neckline is too low, and her skirt is too short! I know she's wearing shorts, but still, you can clearly see her being uncomfortable and constantly fixing her outfit. SM should stop giving them outfits like these to dance on most especially if the choreo requires a drop and leg stretching

I didnt claim they sing live or dont live. the question is did they even didnt sing live in pre recording? They sing live. So why are we judging them when we already knew the system of music show in korea. Just listening to their vocal tone etc, they are good singers. They have the basic. And SM artists have been known having thin difference from their live vocals and pre record cause they have been trained for so hard and the training was so hard, you can can check yunho video as example.
I am not even the stan of aespa, but i saw them singing live in basement, and to see someone has good vocals or not, it is pretty clear. Rookie days is one of the hardest time bcs you still dont know much about the industry, being nervous left and right, even sometimes when you have great vocal, you can be shaky bcs of too much nervous and cant be all out. But that's also the sweetest moment, bcs that's the beginning of process. So, just enjoy the process.
