Regardless of shooting, ask fisherman about the RSPBs actions against generational rights to access the countryside. The RSPB are another organisation that have gone from a practical necessity to a money making, oppressive quasi religion.
Thats because grouse numbers are artificially inflated by eliminating all the prey on the moors ....and if you did your science you'd know gull numbers are dropping at an alarming rate due to the over fishing of the seas ...

@@head-keeper i know exactly what the habits are of seabirds, and I also know what happens on shoots ....not all shoots are badly run ...but many are .....facts are most commercial shoots are run at the expense of the indigenous wildlife

I will let you know about expenses to indigenous species, my employer spends over £20K on grain and plants crops which helps finches, sparrows, yellow hammers, tits etc during winter and beyond. Take this away from all over the UK and we shall be poorer for the loss.
@@head-keeper seagulls of all the many species are seabirds as differentiated from land birds ...as I said I know full well the habits of both categories of both domains of birds ....and I am also aware that some shoots do good stuff for wildlife ....but I am very much aware most don't so don't preach to me ....wildlife protection comes first ahead of those who want to shoot to kill for fun ...end of conversation...conservation of the fast dwindling wildlife is my bag
Look I have got to shoot something living because clay pigeons just do not stiffen the right areas. The grouse could apply for a FAC and shoot back but apparently they do not like eating us

The RSPB takes Holden Eagles and White Tailed Eagles for relocation, it seems to be one rule for the RSPB and another for keepers and estate owners.
