sorry but I really can't see what exactly is this aloe vera product. what kind of gel or can you type the brand or kind of thing. I was thinking to mix with vaseline but maybe get is better, thank you for the tip. the gel glitters are way too expensive and this is a good solution
The aloe vera is the Fruit of the Earth 100% Aloe Vera gel-I get it off Amazon but you can find it inside Walmart many drugstores too! The one thing that might happen with Vaseline is smudge- the aloe vera dries down and prevents it from moving where applied. Hope this helps!
You know what's funny is that they have thier own mixing medium jelly and I couldn't find the ingredients. I wanted to know if they(lemonhead) were charging 18 dollars for basically aloe vera gel 🤣
Yes! Definitely works with real aloe from an actual plant- I've tried that too just make sure you don't use too much otherwise the dry down will be longer. Once the gel does dry down it's not sticky at all! Hope that helps!
@valerinalynn7737 no glue needed! As the aloe vera dries down the glitter adheres to your skin ✨️ As a recommendation though: when removing use a cotton ball or pad soaked in water and remove from the area- otherwise it'll smear all over and it'll be a nightmare to get off!
Hey girly I want to do this with all my loose glitters and pigments and want to know if they ever molded or turned green? Please message me back at your earliest convenience!
They don't turn or mold... but they did dry out eventually so maybe do it as you go... unless you have a really good air tight container. My pressed glitters are still good but those were a little different than these. Hope that helps!
It literally lasts all day until you take it off! And because you use aloe it comes off with just water, but don't rub your eyes just get a cotton pad wet and wipe off otherwise you'll have glitter all over your face😊 Thank you!
Glycerin doesn't dry on skin it's more of a moisturizer but I do use that for my pressed glitters... you'd definitely need an adhesive of some sort to get it to stick. The aloe dries down and acts like glue without irritation, unless you're allergic to aloe in which case please don't use it, and it's really easy to take off because it's water soluble.
Thank you for this Vid!! You are the first person to do this using all natural Aloe Vera instead of harsh chemicals like Lye/Alcohol/Glycerin...i mean aren't some of those thing used to make explosives? lol. I bought a tonne of fine glitter from my dollar store in about 30 shades, so cant wait to get DIYing! Thanks again!
@Xochi Gonzalez ^ what she said. It's true that products like these can make explosives, but you usually need strong chemicals for that to happen. For example, a common explosive for glycerin is nitroglycerin, but in order to make it, you need nitric and sulfuric acid. Glycerin its self is a sugar carbohydrate and thats why it helps to uderstand that if intended everything could be made into a bad substance but it naturally doesn't happen without reacting with x and this is why some people think that chemicals are "bad" when in reality Glycerin itself is just a sugar and so fourth. Sorry, the science geek in me was coming out 🤠
Www.bulkglitters.com Just in case anyone wants some glitter for their glitter gel creation- this is where I get mine currently. They're doing free shipping on any size order which they NEVER do! There's tons of different glitters on the site but I always do the cosmetic grade one and get the sample size... it's a lot trust! Good luck and thank you for keeping this video active 4 years later!
Thank you. As a makeup artist myself, this will definitely work with chunky glitter.

Is it sticky and does it last a long time
I don't have aloe vera gel at the moment but do you think I shuttle primer mixed with the glitter and maybe a little bit of eyeshadow will work ?
Hi! I'm not too sure unless the primer dries down completely but if you try it let me know!
@@BeresLookingGlass I'm going to try it out with my NYX black glitter
Girl! I LOVE YOU EYESHADOOWWWWWW !!!1!!!!!11
Wow amazing! Thank You so much
Could i use this method of gel glitter on my nails.....iloveit
Just mix glitter with nail polish because the aloe is just going to rinse off with water.

+Briton Dean I was so excited when I saw it worked!
Could you make glitter liner with this method?
You can! I've used it as liner before and it worked! The only thing is it's not waterproof but it won't budge otherwise😊

Great thanks for the reply Can u make a video on your pressed glitter and how you did them. Also how long they have lasted!!!!
ECINEREB_BERENICE how long did it take until they dried out?
Mine lasted about 4 months before some dried... but that's because they weren't closed correctly😬😅
It works really great, but for some reason it kinda stings the eye when it's wet. Once dry it stops.
Oh no! It shouldn't sting that's for sure! Don't use it if it stings I would hate for something to happen to you because of it!
can you use on your face
Definitely! I use it on my eyes-carefully of course. And for my kids I use it in their hair and on their body/ face.
Girl I love this how long does it last through the day?!
It literally lasts all day until you take it off! And because you use aloe it comes off with just water, but don't rub your eyes just get a cotton pad wet and wipe off otherwise you'll have glitter all over your face😊 Thank you!
Thank you so much!!!

+Breanna Spurr thank you! It's so easy!
really amazing very creative ..
lets c check this
could you also use glycerin?

Mine got hard in the container after a month 😩😩 Yours is so pretty 😍
A couple of mine did too... but I just added water and mixed it to get it back! Hope this works for you!
ECINEREB_BERENICE that helps soooo much. Than you 🙂
Hiii I'm happy I found your chanel
Thanks. Still relevant in 2024🎉
I'm so glad it's useful even now! You're welcome! Enjoy!

Lye is in most all soaps, alcohol allows it to dry, glycerin is literally edible
