My grandson is 9 and the bedroom set I bought for him at our house is white. I purchased it when he went into a big boy bed so he was young and white didn't bother me as the color. But I always thought that one day I'd have to repaint it and thought black would be a good color. This technique is perfect ! Thanks for the idea !

Hi Linda, so with chalk paint you don't have to sand it down at all at the beginning?
Would you recommend a poly on top ,in a child's room . On the top so if they set something wet ,it won't hurt the top.

I have mismatched cabinets and vanity in my bathroom. Will this work on those? This would be a perfect solution.
How do you eliminate lint in the wax. I used 2 different lint free cloths and have lint all through my table?

I didn't know that you don't have to prepare the surface by sanding or deglossing. Will that not peel or chip?
It will... Why do u think when she did the distressed sanding it sanded off so easy ... Will chip and nick very easy
