    Vandoren sounds clearer and less resistant, especially in the upper register. The Vandoren sounds like it will go wherever you want. You sound great as always!

    Both are good. Their use depends on what the music demands. For faster-paced music, seamless staccatos and quicker responsiveness, I would choose #2. For slower, moodier pieces, #1 because it is inert but rich. This is why serious saxophone music players must have many tools in their pockets: different reeds, mouthpieces and necks (crooks).

    I liked #2 on the lower notes but thought that #1 was better as the notes got higher.
