Shades of Renaissance - and that's a good thing. I can hear Jon Camp's bass and Terry Sullivan's drums, and although the vocals by Christine are very different to Annie's, they are no less good and suit the song perfectly. As I am now of advancing years I can remember Renaissance in their heyday, and I never thought I would find a band that could carry that torch forward - until now. I might be late to the Magenta party, but I am glad I have turned up.
Well said! And the parallelism is totally accurate in my opinion too. Maybe you will like to know that there is a Magenta´s song called "Night and Day", sung by Annie Haslam, and backing vocals by Christina... Lovely!
Wonderful! Magenta always impeccable... Their music never fails to bring goosebumps to me, and even some tears many times. Rob Reed is pure genius, and what a band, each one perfect in their instruments. Rob himself superb in the keyboards, and Chris Fry making cry and sing elegantly that guitar. Then Dan Nelson and Jiffy Griffiths with that solid and tasteful rhythm session of bass and drums. The girls on the woodwinds (Karla and Katie?), and the percusionist (who is him?) giving so much life and beautiful textures to the music. And then Christina, sublime and emotional... What a voice, so expressive and delicate, and at the same time so solid and characterful... I just love her, and I just love Magenta´s music... Thanks a lot for so many years of amazing music! 😍
Thanks for the video! As an old school horror fan and prog rock fan, too, I picked up the CD for this album when it first came out. Great song and fun to finally see it live.
Love this song, love this Band. What is your percussionists name? Its great you brought him out for this. You did an interview a few years ago, in it you said someone taught you how to play the timpani properly, is this him? I have seen him play with you on many a song.
I love Magenta❤ Christina’s voice is so unique and beautiful
So lucky to have been on the front row at this concert
It was absolutely awesome 😍

Loved Renaissance and agree Magenta is quite likewise that supergroup! Also Quasar comes in my mind! 😉👍

Brilliant performance. Love the effortless guitar playing of Chris Fry, but with a name like Bacon I suppose that's no surprise 🙂
Phantastin song - love it 😘

Simon Brittlebank. A very talented chap :)
@@chrismagenta Thanks for the info.
I can't wait to hear the guitar solo in "The Warning" live. The studio version is one of the greatest solos ever.
