Aw thanks, gigi so cute hanging out with me while I filmed 🥺 and totally get it, I was nervous too going out of state and not really knowing anyone... 😖
I started meeting pple on the FB group, its comforting as an international student, I even found someone who's in the same city as me and we know people who I know personally which is sooo nice.
Oh wow that’s super cool!! I felt the same way when I met Luke at Berkeley. It’s different when you meet someone who knows the same people in your hometown as you, a special bond! ☺️
For Berkeley, check out this website for all of the clubs Berkeley offers - callink.berkeley.edu/Organizations. Most will have applications open and close during the first 2/3 weeks of the semester. If you scrolled through the website list and found some clubs you were interested in, you can click to see their club website to see if they're advertising when apps open/close. For the ASUC, which is the big student government for the entire Berkeley campus, they have some positions that are open right now and close in a few weeks - asuc.org/apply/. I was an Intern in an ASUC Senator's office my freshman year, so many students get involved in that. Hope that helps, let me know if you had any other questions!
I do not believed there is a major specifically related to forensic science, you can see the entire list of majors that Berkeley offers here- admissions.berkeley.edu/academic-programs-majors. The closest thing would maybe be majoring in Legal Studies and then using the distribution requirements to find classes more related to forensic science. Hope this helps! ☺️
For those who want to stay separate, then you do not have to follow any of these tips! There are students who like to do their own thing, so as long as you want that, are doing well in classes, and not feeling lonely/isolated, then that is totally your choice! 😄
I needed this 😩
haha me too before going to college 🙈
great advice Rachel! I was also nervous about not being able to make friends when I went to college :/ loved the puppy in the background hehe
